  1. To be fair, I was shooting 3 Wisemen and just wanted to point out that his deep ball wasn't that bad when he has both knees working and an OL that can give him longer than 2.5sec to let the play develop. But I also didn't say that Herbert didn't have arm talent when it was clearly on display. Kinda like folks that thought Gabbert was the #1 prospect when he was 0/1 on passes of 40+ yards the year he declared.
  2. You mean Shaq had to play without another LB next to him unless Jermaine was on the field?
  3. I could see the team being willing to invest in a known commodity given the circumstances of this draft class. Big fan of getting more chances with more picks when there is a lot of uncertainty with the draft class.
  4. His knee injury really affected his ability to take deep shots. He was always a smart player without elite arm talent, but his deep ball really wasn't that bad until he took that shot. After that, everything started to decline as evidenced by the game splits and passing charts. Any other player would get some type of understanding with being on a team with a new coaching staff, a COVID-impacted offseason, getting hurt, a porous OL, missing their #1 weapon, and not having a TE worth a damn on the roster. I was surprised that they moved on from him as well, but getting a chance on a 3rd overall pick for a 2nd while also getting draft capital for Teddy was some solid maneuvering by Fitterer. I knew TB was going to be disparaged relentlessly when I saw folks still clinging to Cam and refuting film + stats in favour of bitching about Teddy's contract. Outside of mentioning the call coming in late on the bad throw to DJ, he was an excellent teammate as evidenced by receiving the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award (which is determined by the players). Wish nothing but success for him. It's all in on Sam Darnold time now though.
  5. Anyone been playing? I haven't gotten to play this week so I'm still waiting try out Goldlewis, but was very surprised they hadn't smacked Sol with the nerf bat (and I've been a Sol main since the original Guilty Gear!) Tho I'm playing Giovanna in Strive, I might have to go back to my Sol roots if they're not gonna do anything about his damage and far S.
  6. When the folks that were influenced by politicians that downplayed the virus die off, maybe. Herd immunity requires 70% - 90% vaccination rates (measles is so contagious that it requires 95%). Unfortunately, Florida might get there first by killing children. Crazy how the same folks that were tweeting #SaveOurChildren and having aneurysms over the suggestion of defunding the police are in favor of defunding education.
  7. It's like people were warned that if they didn't take the virus seriously and work together to prevent its spread that it would inevitably mutate which would lead to a second pandemic. bUt mUh hAIrcUt fuging spreadnecks smh
  8. Literally vacationing right now in Florida and every time the news airs it is talking about how hospitals are overwhelmed and trying to show folks how dangerous the virus is. Even more so than in SC. You're trying to force your beliefs over knowledge and it's pretty gross tb100. Also, hospitalizations are down in general due to folks getting vaccinated as it doesn't prevent infection but rather gives your body a chance to fight and win.
  9. Example of Sam Franklin's tough Thursday.
  10. Yesterday's TD to Omar Bayless over Jaycee Horn
  11. Love the picks! Still need a big, and while I'm not a fan of Plumlee the Hornets basically got paid to take on his contract. Rly excited to see the development of Kai Jones and JT Thor!!
  12. Sam Franklin and Myles Hartsfield were talked up as potential future starters yesterday by Rhule after Franklin had a good day. Sounds like today was a step back. Will look to see him bounce back
  13. I see that Perryman plans to live on the IR still
  14. Terrace Marshall is having a good second day it sounds
  15. Really excited to see if YGM's development trends up this season. He'll get a year rotating in for Reddick and could very well start in years 3 & 4 of his rookie deal.
  16. I haven't been impressed with Elflein, but like Erving he provides position flexibility on the line. He's also dirt cheap this season at just over $1M. When it jumps to $7M next season, he can potentially line up center for the team. If he sucks, it'll be just around $4.5M in dead cap. Really hoping to see Dennis Daley and Deonte Brown step up to at least provide stability at one of the interior positions on the OL.
  17. Not interested until his legal issues are resolved and he's taken proactive steps to learn how to treat women. Throwing some money at charity and a couple of sensitivity classes is not enough to address clear predatory behavior. I'd need to see Deshaun attack his issues head on and be an example of accountability for others to mimic going forward.
  18. I was a BIG FAN of Erving's when he declared for the draft and was heartbroken when he didn't pan out initially (even more so when tEddy thrEw dEEp ) Hoping that he catches on in Carolina as at least the swingman that can play any position on the line
  19. Did a search for "Kollman" before posting because I figured it already had but no threads popped up.
