I’ve been around this place since before this place, I have always loved it here. We’ve had some of the best posters I’ve ever seen come and go! I miss a lot of them, I miss the huddle tailgate at games to, those were good times. I don’t have, nor do I want anything related to social media so this was then and is now my go to place for Panthers information, some laughs and sometimes to vent frustrations. Hope this place never goes away and I hope one day some of the old posters that no longer frequent come back.. P.S. I agree, bring back the lovely ladies thread, I know it’s still here just hidden!

Both of those guys have NFL size, arm strength and talent. BY has none of that, there is a difference.

After this draft, I have felt better about this team as a whole than previous years, including the Cam years. We addressed most of what we needed to with FA and the draft combined, we don’t have a QB but once we get one we have the pieces in place

Exactly, like Hill he is just an athlete that happens to be able to throw the ball. I’m sure, with some reps and time, he could catch just fine. That’s why I said “and catch” Taysom Hill has beat the poo out of us and many other teams during the SP years. If we had that!!! Owe Mang! Edit: I’ll add this, 4th and 1 or 2 on the goal line? We would get 6 points with that dude! Edit 2: he may not now or ever be a QB1, but he can avg more than 6 yards per play

Could we have our very own Taysom Hill with Haynes King? I’ve been sitting here, drinking beer, thinking about this. That kid is tough as nails, will run and take a beating, can certainly pass the ball and catch! I hope he makes the team but probably won’t. He might be the best QB we have in the room now!

I agree with this, if I’m the front office I’m trying to trade some low hanging fruit to get more picks for next years draft! Looking at you XL and a few others

April! Psh, come in the winter, this place is full of them and they are swimming in the ocean. April / May is when we get everyone from NC, Ohio, Maryland and Kentucky, a few from WV and Virginia. Winter months is all about the Canadians though

After the first round, you’re not getting a green dot ILB. I see a lot of people not liking this draft but honestly this seems like a very smart draft so far. Sexy, getting better with the WR but good. Yes!!!

At least they didn’t spend a first on a WR. Writing is on the wall for XL

The thing with the vertical is, at this position, NT, why do we care, big man maul someone!!! I don’t need you to jump, I need you to run over people, he does that!

Disagree with this, dude is huge!!! Big enough to be a NT and has been a very good one. So far I like the draft, not sexy but building the most important things, the trenches!

Hoping for Njoku. It’s certainly a gamble with his injuries but when he is on the field he is a huge upgrade over any TE we have

As a white dude that grew up playing sports and in locker rooms my entire life no one really cares except people that blow everything out of proportion. I’ve used that term to my teammates and they have used it towards me, with the “a” it’s more brotherly than derogatory and everyone in that locker room knows that. People these days just find everything and anything to be upset about. Besides, who doesn’t love singing Karaoke to Nelly?

Yea at some point the madness has to end. Miami is going to end up paying over 10 million to steal Dukes QB. Contracts mean nothing, these NIL deals mean nothing, the blue bloods will continue to have the most money in college football to steal other players and it’s sad the game has come to this. I was all for NIL but there has to be some ground rules and no one is setting them.

We still don’t have players on the defensive side of the ball, we are hurting bad there, I really can’t believe how good they were on D with the players they have, we can’t keep drafting offense and ignore the D. I’ve watched these playoffs games, again this year because it’s the same every year, D wins super bowls. Letting Mayes walk is a mistake, get young defensive guys on rookie contracts.

That may be true but we finally have an oline and given that we just picked up BY 5 year and Ickey is out, last thing we need to do is rebuild the oline. Mayes is versatile and plug and play, we don’t miss a beat with him on the line, short arms and all
