This team is headed to run the east for awhile. Peterson has draft picks and assets for years and this team has bought in. To be beating all the top teams on the rd by 20....ridiculous

I'm sure we all have a few bones to pick with people in our past but that does nothing on most cases moving forward. This podcast era is the gift n the curse. Everyone has to have the hot take but often times, it hurts your image. Steve is beloved by the heart n gut he showed on the field but he definitely needs to just find peace somehow. He's too grown to be out here flaming folk from years ago.

The team is really high on Cam Jackson too. He flashed in limited reps and is way more athletic than I thought someone his size would be. Rookie contract only pushes him to get more reps amd let Robinson go.

Having him and Trevon in the middle of the defense would be huge. Also, we are getting a massive edge upgrade to go with Nic... so the defense should be revamped.
-
All things considered, going 2-2 without 3 huge pieces is good. It was a time when we'd lose all 4.

wasnt directed at you personally just saying the supporters are saying he is "progressing" but at some point he either is the guy or isnt. His "progression" is at a damn snails pace and you simply cannot afford to ride him out for 5 years hoping he makes a monumental leap.
I wholeheartedly agree!!!

How many years are we going to keep saying this?
I'm just speaking on the staff picking up the option... I've been said we need another guy in that room...

Bryces third year to put up or shut up

Too expensive to bring in
We will see. He probably gonna have to sign another prove it but maybe somebody swomgs for him to start

Btw, Morgan says he wants the Qb that's added to be able to move around. Makes me wonder bc vet wise, Malik Willis is the 1st one who pops in my mind. Random...

Young should get no where near that. Hell, as of this moment he shouldn’t get any contract. The option is even debatable, but makes sense in some ways.
Facts... at the moment... he should at max be 15 to 20. Sam had to go through a bunch of 1 year deals to get to that 33 but he's earned it. He put up stats consistently. This is Bryces year to put up or shut up. If the team gets improved around him... and he starts out like the last 3 years, it's time to definitely move on. Hopefully we do bring in another Qb to keep that room honest

The fact that the Broncos robbed us more of a Superbowl and Sean Payton putting bounties on Cam... I can't root for them at all. They look like the better team atm tho...

I think this would be a good move. I remember us saying the same thing about Peppers and many thought he was done but he went to GB and Chicago and continued to have success and came back home and still played at a high level.
I think guys with great technique can play well past 30.
If I had to choose between trading for Crosby and what we would have to give up to get him and signing Trey. I would go after Hendrickson.
Trey has plenty of tape standing up surprisingly. Guys like him have the technique and IQ to play the position for awhile. Cincy definitely did him wrong and I'd gladly accept him. He would allow us to continue developing Princely etc too. Take an MLB or olineman with 19 or trade back and add more picks. I'd assume free agent rushers would welcome the fact we have good coverage.

Its like waiting for the glimmering glass horse pulled carriage to turn back into some mice and a pumpkin. I love Sam, but it just feels like its always 11:59, and you just dont know if its AM or PM.
Lol no lie!! Dude is a ticking time bomb!

I want the Rams to win but I’m thinking it’s a Seattle NE SB
I’d make peace with losing to the eventual SB champs in a game we easily could’ve won
Yeah Seattle defense is ridiculous but maybe Sam becomes Sam again. Lol

I think he would retire if they win.
That's definitely the vibe I feel. Plus, I could never root for Sean Payton or The Pat's. Both teams fortunate for timing in our Super Bowls. Seattle is a monster but the rivalry we had during Cams tenure is still in my head!

I'd rather the rams win it all to push Stafford out the door lol.

Ultimately CJ Stroud is a bust it's the Texans problems. Although it must be pointed out they are one of the bottom 5 or so teams in salary cap dedicated to the OL.
But the folks doing victory laps dancing on the grave of his career while carrying water for Bryce at every turn cannot be taken seriously.
Stroud has played as many games as Bryce Young but he peaked early. He had one of the better rookie seasons in awhile.
Bryce Young has played in 46 games and honestly other than one record setting game against the Falcons in a dome has never looked as good as Stroud did as a rookie over the course of a single season. It's always one step forward followed by two steps back. And we are certainly at the crossroads where the days of hitting the reset button every time Bryce has a marginally better performance after shitting the bed entirely the week before because the guy is set to get $26.5 million guaranteed. Perspective is important here.
This same defense made us look like straight cheeks! Nico being out definitely doesn't help, no running game and oline is ranked with the chargers. I didn't see him doing this bad but I honestly can say I'm not too surprised via the circumstances.

I'd assume he'd take quite a few from his staff with him.

He's a fan of the team but it's still no telling on where they stand with Bryce. If you ask me, there are serious internal conversations from those that question Bryce. Usually Qbs the team is confident about, you barely hear in year 4 of questions remaining. The team is going to see how year 4 looks and go from that. I definitely can tell they are adding some talent to that room off Canales and Morgan recent press conferences.

The key of the playoff experience is more than the team gaining for next year. It also sets the president in free agency for players thinking the Panthers are building something.

Teams like Houston are gonna go all out for Oline help.
