iirc players with the Vikings didn’t like him. Maybe diggs? Similar to how baker didn’t. From what I was by a player that KS doesn’t allow his qbs to change the plays. Everything is what he says and there’s no room for change. Baker has been allowed to audible since college. It’s hindering his game not letting him do it. he also loves scheming around tightends. Even when their te room wasn’t stellar.

What makes you think Josh Allen would be Josh Allen on this team? He’s has the benefit of having great players around him, and great coaching.

Okay so corral is a practice warrior and sucks in game. I’d still rather have a baker that can be competent in game and maybe doesn’t hit the trash can everytime in practice.

So corral is hoping baker plays well but not too well.

Before the whole fiasco I would play halo with baker and he basically alluded to the fact that Kevin stefanski didnt let any qb make changes. In college Lincoln riley allowed baker to do that. It’s part of his toolkit.

tbh I think Baker will be pretty loyal to Carolina because they are the only ones to "believe" in him. I think if its between one team paying slightly more and carolina he would go Carolina. (this is all based on if he plays really well this year)

I think thats why the browns fanbase is so torn with baker because it seemed out of thin air we started seeing people who use to kiss bakers ass tell everyone how horrible he is. I dont know what was going on there.

Where? He had horrible coaches (including KS imo), and his two best receivers wouldn't be a number 1 receiver on any other team. I don't even know if Landry is a 2nd receiver anymore. His tightends were meh for most of the time he was there. Njoku broke out as possibly a good TE (not good at blocking) but a year before 2021 fans wanted him cut from the team.. He had great running backs that KS seemed to misuse. And the oline while being good (better at run blocking) they were injured a lot especially last year. Defense was below average most of the time. The browns lost to the chiefs in the playoffs because of the defense. Basically baker never really had that great of pass catchers and even if you think I'm wrong about that, KS likes to scheme for tightends, a group the browns were below average at.

I blame the playcall. Someone posted a video in a different thread of a former qb talking about this play. They should have had another receiver going long to keep that safety off RA

Ya I follow a few teams and the panthers have the worst media department and writers. Do they do anything like building the browns or flightplan (arizona). Like their own hard knocks type thing? They’re YouTube and social media is horrendous. Could hire a couple college grads to do a better job.
