Exactly. Few people seem to understand that the Panthers will be like the Cowboys are "Football Team", making desperate and exaggerate trades for certain players. Hopefully all this cap is being cleared up in order to pay a lot of draft picks to sort through. Otherwise, Deshaun Watson will be crying on Twitter again in three years when he is in the exact same situation; just with the Panthers.

I truly cannot understand why that is so hard for most of these people to comprehend.

You guys realize that it would eat CMC and Teddy's contract stipulations, lose 3 first rounders over the next year, AND have to pay Watson's ridiculous salary? We can barely afford have the bums on the team already; and want to salvage the future into an even bigger cap mess so that Watson can get absolutely destroyed?

Ok for fugs sake, fugIN ENOUGH. Watson is an extremely stupid idea, even more so if it means trading away all the talent we currently have, only to finance a Newton-style beating for Watson, and then not being able to afford any new talent because all our money will be invested into him.

And spend obnoxious amounts of money to fund Watson's contract, only for him to take a Newton-esque beating and demand a trade within three years? You won't be able to pay an o-line to keep him safe, and his contract's salary will eat up all the positions of need.

AND millions of dollars to finance Watson's salary. What is SO F*CKING hard to understand about that??

I have always wondered if Remmers was some kind of double-agent for whatever team he is playing for. The man is obviously good enough to start, and be a second-string player on an immensely talented team. Some of his mishaps and miscues just seem so planned and intentional.

I remember the year him and Goff were in the draft. I said to myself "these dudes would be third rounders at best in almost any other draft".

I would have loved to see him play instead of teddy. I’m sure it would have been WAY more entertaining, albeit, potentially equally frustrating. That LASIK surgery may have really changed things for him, or not. Would have been fun to find out.

Is it really that hard to imagine that Bienemy simply wants to continue the success he is found in KC, and is happy with his position? As weird as this may sound, I often get the impression that people are pushing for him to be a head coach very badly. Maybe he simply loves being where he is right now, and isn't actually interested in being a head coach anywhere.

Sure, if you want to tie up all the salary cap money you have on one player (Watson) as well as three (likely top ten) draft picks over the next few years then absolutely. Then you won’t have any money to pay anyone to stay past a rookie contract, Watson will take a Cam Newton like beating, and the team will suck for years to come. Sounds like a solid plan.

I am not convinced he is that terrible... BUT, I would totally buy it if you tried to convince me he was a spy against the Panthers. I swear there was times where offsides, holds, etc where just so ridiculous that it was hard to believe he wasn't doing it intentionally.

They don't care. They want every bit of any capital to all go to DW so he can take the pounding of his life over the next five years, and have absolutely no remaining assets to draft protection and/or pick up free agents to protect him. Then DW will be Cam Newtoned, and all of the salary cap will go towards financing his beating and poor o-line acquisitions, by having no money to pay anyone else but him.

Noooooo Lets trade the next 5-10 years for Deshaun Watson, not be able to afford free agents, and have zero capitol to acquire more talent
