'20 Cam vs. '21 Garoppolo (and '19) (+ a Darnold tidbit)
blackcat replied to Dory's topic in Carolina Panthers
Cam isn't who he used to be, but I'd love to see him behind an actual OL, not the garbage we had out there this year. I can say the same for Sam as well. I'd like to see what he can do with a good OL as well. That said, I don't think Cam is coming back here and I think that's HIS decision. -
Sean Payton Officially Steps Away From Saints

NO is going to save tons of cash on prescription pills. -
I'm 10000% on board. THIS will get Rhule fired!
-
@ladypanther Unfortunately, they 'thought' they addressed the OL with Erving and Elfline. They were terribly wrong on that.
-
I mean, would we actually miss them?.......

I'd be more than happy with this plan. Make it happen.

Matt Rhule says Darnold will start Sunday
blackcat replied to trueblade's topic in Carolina Panthers
Honestly, I don't mind this move. It will further cement Rhule's terrible choices at QB and maybe get Rhule and Darnold out of here faster. No reason for Cam to play and get rape murdered by Cam Jordan. -
Matt Rhule says Darnold will start Sunday
blackcat replied to trueblade's topic in Carolina Panthers
Must be trying to make up for the preseason games he held him out of...... -
Can win consistently if you OL sucks. Our franchise has been the model of this for years. When will the folks who run the place realize that? Tom Brady with Aaron Rodgers backing him up could be in our QB room and we'd still suck.

I swear one his throws to DJ for a sliding catch/first down was rotating like helicopter blades....
-
Judging from how he kept Hurney around for too long, I think he gives Rhule another year with the caveat that Rhule and Fitt focus on nothing but OL. Tepper has shown he's involved (ie, bringing Cam back), so it would shock me if he didn't dictate that OL and nothing but OL should be the focus.
-
They're tied to Darnold next year, bottom line. They need to put every possible resource towards the OL and roll with Cam and Sam.
-
....and with a OL capable of protecting him.

Just received this in my inbox.....

This move means they're trying to win. He's playing Sunday.

LIke when Tiger Woods won the Masters a few years back. All is right with the world.
-
That's already started in this thread. Could we call them something else though, like LetsGoBrandons? I drive and F150 and like this move.

So many mixed emotions right now. Want 2015 Cam back but watched 2020 Cam play last year. Plus, I don't know how long he (or anyone) will last behind the "offensive line". I get that Cam is probably looking to showcase his talent and make it back to the league, but this might not be the safest place. If we thought Brady's playbook was small last week, just imagine what it'll look like with a new to the system QB. Did i mention the O line?

Oh my.....

This right here is what will happen. Rhule is safe for one more year, Brady and his varsity letter jackets is a goner. We use all 2 of our draft picks this year on OL and FA on OL and we'll see what Rhule (and Darnold b/c he'll be here) can do.
-
Brady doesn't need an MRI, he needs a box to put all his letter jackets in and given a swift kick in the a$$ out.
-
We're stuck with Sam through next year. We need to address OL and OL only this offseason and get rid of the varsity letter jacket wearing OC that sucks. Until the OL is addressed, it doesn't matter who is throwing the ball.
