  1. A handful of those were also claiming the former Penn State FB in Levis was some magician and Stroud was the one to be nervous about. We’re all wrong at times but they acted that way in such a proud wannabe-analyst mode like they knew better and then rushed off to that discord thing. It’s pretty funny. Not to dwell over the fact this is about a young dude not cutting the mustard. Just kinda funny hehe
  2. WE F*CKING WON A GAME!!!!!!!
  3. Minshew has always been meh but with meme-ish marketability that makes him more popular than other journeymen. He wasn't that good for the Eagles or Colts. Still, better than we're used to, but yeah, people think he's a bit better than he really is.
  4. Man. A sound victory that we didn't eek out with a dismal performance and end of regulation FG feels amazing. A f*cking WIN. Let's go.
  5. Sanders looks effective enough behind a good line to send to Dallas. They're flailing and could send more than we'd expect if desperate.
  6. Did I mention we've equaled our previous 11 game passing TD total? ELEVEN!!!
  7. Also, Legette looks good. I did not advocate for him high in the second (eventually a 32nd pick), but I will admit, the guy looks really promising. A lot of good stuff today. DALTON, Hunt, Lewis, Corbett, Legette, Diontae, Chuba, Jewell, Jackson, Ray (this dude showed UP) So when you have a guy who can keep the offense on the field, it helps the entire team, offense & defense out. Gives the defense breathers, gives the WRs placement, operates in the pocket to make the OL look sharp. Everything was just fine tuned and balanced. Honestly, one of the most both balanced and vertical offenses I've seen on this team in forever. This was one of the best days in forever, well above a ton of Rivera & Fox squads.
  8. Hubbard is also proving to be a really solid RB. Pairing him with Brooks could be a really nice tandem once our 2nd rounder shows up. Legette is looking sharp. IOL is looking strong. Icky has shown he's a road grader again Jewell can show up at times Mike Jackson is a dude at CB
  9. Dalton: 1. Has more passing yards than Bryce on the year 2. Matches the passing TDs of Bryce's last 11 games. 11!!
  10. Meh, good defense there but wish we ran a higher % play on that 3rd
  11. Umm yeah. That's what a normally sized QB that steps up into the pocket can do with this team.
  12. Shane Waldron called possibly one of the worst RZ sequences I've ever seen by a playcaller.
  13. Nix is starting to look a bit better today.
  14. Dalton is seriously impressing this year with his maneuverability in the pocket. He still has a few bozo plays every now and again, but he's really looking refined.
  15. They just need to be done with it. The bandaid has been ripped off. Send him off rather than pouting until Dalton is injured. Maybe try a Hendon Hooker swap with Detroit. I don’t care.
  16. This haha. Hunt & Horn are the two only active players I would consider top-15 at their position. Oh and our punter lol.
  17. NYTimes cooking is what's up. And the Athletic has always been and is still excellent. I will stand by that, independent of the news side of things. As a part chef household, we get our worth out of it.
  18. Not responding to anyone specifically but— I don’t see this as a super complicated scenario or something that happened too soon when we basically flipped this entire team for the kid. He somehow looked worse than last season after his first full offseason in the league. And Canales had more than 2 games, he was here the entire offseason. If they’re even somewhat decent at what they do, they saw this well before the games. There were rumors and reports at camp with how the offense looked, so this isn’t really a surprise to the coaches. If we were having this trouble against our own defense at practice, then the players knew before the games hit too. And if Bryce is regressing and performing at, both statistically and eye-test, one of the worst rates in the modern era, everyone sees it. There’s no sugar coating the situation. The players, coaches, ownership, fans ALL recognize it, nothing is changing, attitude isn’t changing, then yeah, bench him and be done with it.
