Raanta just can’t seem to anticipate wraparounds, he’s been beat on those a number of times. Canes gonna have to put goals in net to win this one.
-
Fast off Drury’s skate. I hope it counts
-
Drury!! Woooo!
-
lol I swear man I think you’d me happiest if the Canes lost this game so you could say “see, fug Raanta!” I’d rather just pull for the Canes to win haha.
-
Fast! Canes dominating
-
Burns is definitely back. Much better shot selection.

Favorite Pyotr stops thus far: 1. Flying Poke check on Tkachuck’s penalty shot https://x.com/theathleticnhl/status/1734769071416046056?s=46 2. Back of leg stop against the Preds: https://x.com/waltruff/status/1740202566321918339?s=46

Nay Son.

I’m predicting a Canes win. Not saying if Raanta is in net as expected that he will be great, but good enough for a win.
-
Pyotr’s last 5 games. I think he will only get better and more consistent the more games he plays.
-
He hit two posts with the same shot that oughta count a point at least
-
Solid game! pyotr stopped 35 of 37, a .946 SV%. He has a .917 SV% last 5 games, .898 for the season. closing on on the .900 mark.

I can’t remember when we’ve had this many grade A chances, all at the same time our special teams are playing so well. A winning combo when our goalie is playing well.
-
Preds- “put our Russian in net!”
-
Tic Tack Jarvy!
-
PK blocked that with the back of his leg my goodness
-
Can’t remember Canes being outshot this bad in a while, but Canes are making their shots mean something at least.
-
whew timely kill
-
I don’t mind exciting games - as long as Canes keep a 2 goal lead all the way to the end haha
-
Like that lol Drury!
-
I see this as just a good battle between two teams. If Canes keep scoring we win.
-
Agree, Pesce had a couple of good defensive plays too
-
Burns is back!
-
Aho’s 500th point, milestone reached now let’s win the game.
-
Expect this game to be another tough one. Canes need to start putting together some wins.
