Philly Brown was at Practice signing autographs for fans I’m not sure how much Bryce is improving- the O had to run after practice cuz they was bad. Our offense makes our defense look good- young player building confidence!

Luton looked better, but he was basically playing against a soft prevent shell it seemed. But you gotta take what they give you. Id think we see the first team for at least a half next week- except maybe T-Mo and Shaq. If not ….

Sanders, the rookie TE, looked good blocking on a couple of plays- sealed the edge on a run. If our TEs and RBs can help in pass pro it’ll make a big difference later.

I think next week is when you’d see the most time for starters- then most will be on the shelf again except maybe one series in the final preseason game

Cade Mays probably getting reps as the starting Center!

It’s the entire revamped OL plus most of the other starters on both sides! This game is all about the bottom of the roster

At this point BY not playing is not that big of a deal IMO. The first preseason game I think will be used to see bottom of the roster guys, and perhaps unfortunately, that’s not BY for us. If he doesn’t play at all this preseason that’s another story because like many of you I think he should get reps in the new system with new personnel against an opponent. I think that’s a pretty needed evaluation tool to help the team get better. I wouldn’t be surprised if Thielan, DJ, Chubba,T-MO., Shaq, Xwoods, Clowney and others were sitting all game too.

Despite what Canales said, I’d be surprised if we didn’t see Bryce at all this Preseason. He may not play this Thursday but I bet he gets some reps in the Jets game. If he was a vet in the same system then I’d could see let him sit, but getting live action reps against a real opponent is key to evaluating a work in progress. And we are definitely a work in progress.
