oh boy can't wait to hear his insight.

As was said: makes guys better. That's a really big one. And burn some defensive backs. You normally have to make the defenses fear someone getting behind them. It gets a little easier when they do.

I predicted 6 before we saw Young do anything, fwiw. -

I don't need to get worked up about it (either), it's clear how I feel and clear how you do. I was actually pissed about something else so felt like arguing lol. Have a good draft. -

That's not what you said, you said everybody. Which I really doubt. You are talking about dumb teams in the first place because that is who picks up there. there non stupid teams and that's I am thinking of. I shouldn't have said stupid, I should have said teams who are less astute. -

I don't have any connections in the NFL used to know a couple of players, Rison and a guy I his name was Irving Parker played for the Bills in the '80s. So I can only go by what makes sense, and Bryce does not at he level he went. For an ex NFL player to think he should go number 1, goes against my idea of common sense. -

Sam had to prove himself in every damned league he played in before he was even given a chance in the NFL. Vs a guy who was simply handed an NFL franchise. -

I am actually thinking I'll be looking at his ability to throw the football deep and get it there on time. That's the biggest thing for me that he needs to do so we will see. Otherwise, about him, need to see how he does from under center. -

I know, you are right. But like he said, still just 24. Had all the different coaches and QBs. The coaches now sort of specialized in WRs so I am okay if they are okay. -

I feel your pain on TMJr. He didn't have a paradise here. We have all been abused by the Panthers for a few years now it is traumatic. -
So much there, cherry picking just a couple of things: the second part in your 3rd paragraph, I don't think people are blaming 6 years on Bryce Young. My view might be he is the ultimate manifestation of the 6 years of dysfunction. I hope it was the ultimate. We know who the bad guy is. My opinion is that Bryce was simply the wrong decision it isn't personal. Paragraphs 6 and 7, totally agree. Paragraph 8 In short, I like Canales and think he is going to be better than people thought. Think. It is changing already. Overall.. Even me, a skeptic, expects improvement to be obvious in Young. I actually think he hits close to his ceiling and we'll really have an issue then. We'll see where it goes.

Panthers bring Jordan Matthews back to 53-man roster

According to what Morgan said about him, he is a cultural benefit. Someone good for the young TE to be around, and the other young guys too. It's important and lacking. Plus what he is doing on the field. -

At the same time, I think they were hedging towards fitting to Bryce with those first two draft picks. Jump ball WR, and a near field pass catching threat in the RB. Yes absolutely and it was clear, to me. I'll temper that by saying I didn't want to trade up at all, for anybody. But I didn't research the QBs until it happened, I might have felt differently. I sure saw it when I looked. And I just don't watch much college ball at all so I don't have any opinions on who I am looking at, going in. It is a detached thing, watch and see what you see. -

If Canales is going to be here, you have to send him in search of his quarterback because... if he can do this with retreads and with special case Bryce, you have to think he could hit a home run with his hand picked guy. Okay. I was all the way out on Bryce, anyone was a better choice. If you have that kind of connection (to say you know for a fact) I wouldn't challenge that because I don't. -

Okay you are going off of some report ... that's got to be a maybe. Maybe Morgan is actually all team Bryce. I got no real idea except to go by his actions because he is not free to speak his mind publicly if he disagrees, that's just a no can do. I have the perspective that a MLB looks at all the QBs that were tough to play against and wants that when he is picking. I don't know what he told them but he could have read the room and known what he needed to say. Or maybe he was all in... -

About TMJ and next season when one or both AT and DJ are gone, his contract is done, right? He is young but his contract isn't. With the soaring costs of WR deals, the investment of a 1 and a 2 in consecutive years... I am not saying he will command a ton but it looks like the deals are inflated as hell now, so pay him or fill the gap with the next man up? Whoever that is. -

Watch it (for yourself). Basically doesn't like 'expectations'. Which, if I didn't I would have said 'they can limit you'. -

I think he basically wants to avoid the rebuild mindset in the locker room interfere (oops, interfering) with his rebuild. As to what else was said, I lol'd at the double standard coach speak about the corners - size matters, they have a prototype - where was that when it really counted? At the same time indicating Young is being coached pretty hard (my words), and personally by Canales and giving the impression that it is taking, that is a good thing to hear. -

First, there is fact. 31 teams passed on claiming him, for whatever reason. So we wouldn't be the only guilty party. I would have kept him, but it wasn't a huge issue for me that he is gone either, and looking at things the best he could do was ... 8th on SF depth chart? That will probably improve for him but where would he be if he got on the 53, to impact anything? He is struggling to be in the NFL. I think Morgan is safe on him. That edge thing, that has to be fixed. But it is year one and everyone here pretty much agreed it isn't a one offseason fix. So.. I like Dan so far. I like his cap guy. On the cap thing, that guy is about to earn his money. -
