Man, and these fans are arguing 20 yards. And the speed at WR, that is when you can take advantage of speed.. A fast guy is wasted at 20-25 yards he has to hold up or he runs out of range. Great for YAC at 25 yards yeah he can run away. But just look at that play.

I am so with you on the price and the item we spent on.

This is this approach that I favor. Bypass the big all in gamble and try some informed smaller bets. Spread it around. If you hit the payoff will be very good. A lot of QBs mature slower than others and if you can find one where the light is coming on, that is what you want. edit: Jake would be a great example of that. Wasn’t thinking about him but he was a major steal.

Dowdle nominated for FedEx Air&Ground Playerstrato replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers game manager who made a couple good throws vs a dude who took over the game…
-
I think you can be pleased that we won, and still understand the reality. Taking out draft position, I like winning.

Dowdle nominated for FedEx Air&Ground Playerstrato replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers Yeah and I don’t think RICO is gonna win this one as great a game as he played, I am thinking Mayfield because he is a quarterback, put up great numbers and won his game. I thinkRico was great though and I could be surprised.

Yes. I trust my eyes. But I can’t spend time rewinding and watching 11 guys on every play, lord. But you can tell who is getting beat who is winning plays, and get good feel for what the players are doing. I don’t gamble, I don’t set lineups, so perusing their scores is an okay way to spend a few minutes.

For you guys that are confused, that is a deep ball. A great one.
-
It’s in a quoted reply I think I got confused. Looking at it now I think I took it out of context and apologize. I stand corrrected.
-
You overlook the risk of putting the ball in Bryce’s hands going by the day to that point while chewing up yard on the ground. He could have lost it with another fugup. I wouldn’t want to throw unless I had to.

I don’t think you are looking close forceful gs to like. I mean there were some things that happened in the game. Granted it is hard to assess when is against weak competition. Overall I agree. Wins can hide watts and looking closer at what those were and what needs to be done to eliminate them is gratifying for hardcore analytical perfectionist types.

Well, you may as well because it is done by then. Laugh at your dumbass self. That’s what I do when I do something stupid.
-
They sure will. Criticizing their little darling will get them going for sure.

11 years. Man time flew. I was thinking 6 or 7 maybe.

Is this how the grass comes back to BOA?strato replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers Interesting on a few levels.

So at least two jobs were saves. Those espn guys, Rea is one, said the whole stadium wanted to fire Bryce yesterday until the rest of the team saved his butt.
-
Warnings issued! To make it back on topic, I really don’t care if a player laughs. Bryce can laugh, no problem. I won’t say anything. I care if they can’t play.to expectations, or loaf or get stupid penalties, pretty much. For instance I like Legette but would turn on him if he kept up the loafing and stupid play. In a heartbeat.

I probably don’t have memory of him pre injury. I picture a 3/4 to sidearm almost delivery and limitations. Probably faulty memory. I want a wrist flicking it for 40-50 yards guy with some mobility and some brains. I know it’s a tall order but we are supposed to be aiming high and not for good enough, maybe.
-
You can do that dumb poo alright. You prove it every time you go to name calling and dropping poo on posts. And then whine about us.
-
He has made some good throws yes. His arm isn’t great by any professional measure though It might be decent enough, but the poor footwork inhibits it. So he has to really focus on that and from what I’ve seen he is not consistent. peace.
-
He plods. Really noticeable at first glance last year. I guess he gets the season and then gets evaluated. Sometimes the light comes on fast. You never know,

Nice to win, but Tim Weaver of SI has key duds among the studsstrato replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers That is kind of over the top. Shooting off the mouth without thinking it all through. The LB comment was pretty disconnected from reality.

24 hour rule. Sort of. For me, Inlook back until Wednesday or Thursday. And then the last week is out of my system. I only made a statement about our chances last week because I had a feeling. I don’t pick us to beat anyone. maybe the presence of Luke up in the booth will be enough this week. We have been known to be Cowboy killers in the past. Who knows? Rooting for RICO against his old team.
-
And they tell you to go cheer for the other team. I just will never be able to relate with such blind partisanship that gets indignant over pointing out that a mistake was clearly made.
-
You are dumbing down that big and strong thing though. We are all well aware, you me and everyone else, that prototypical physical traits do not guarantee anything. Lack of them is a much better indicator. You are lost without the physical tools. I don’t understand why people stood on the table for inferior attributes that screamed long odds and thin margins. if we translate this to OL for instance, you aren’t drafting a 235 pound guard. You just aren’t.
