Is anyone else now buying the idea Tepper has eyes on a Europe move??
strato replied to Basbear's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t know. I thought the EU and US signed a deal where we pretty much cancel out most things. Which should be better for us. It is another piece of gum in the works though, I was just trolling Europe to be honest. The future of a business over there, I would be worried. They are losing their grip on their culture and it’s about blow up I think. I don’t know that I would want to be heavily invested. -
Anyone is better than Young but this guy is a little bit of a sideshow. Did you see the mime act? I hate mimes too fwiw

We have people still all up in Bryce’s jock. Tepper is buds with him and his family now. He will be clinging to hope and doing like these people here do and claiming Bryce is poorly coached, has nothing around him, the usual I don’t rule the above out. The stages of grieving take some time to work through until you get to acceptance.

Plus tariffs lol. How would that work? -
We are seeing signs of him becoming more independent let’s call it.

All Red Zone all of the time.

From Day 1. You think he couldn’t see it? Bryce I mean. He knew. Sure, he hoped he was wrong, but he knew.

Nate Tice Nails the Limitations of the Offense

Not judging you, it has been extremely rough for the people that knew where this was going for years now and had to sit through it. -

Just seems vindictive to me. He ain’t causing problems doing purple drink being an idiot, he just can’t do the job. But if that’s what happens, that’s what happens. I’ll live. Tepper is the guy that should be humiliated. -

With that defense last year, I don’t know how you are supposed to have a balanced attack. Yeah, with Dalton the defense has to defend the whole field. A old school deep ball is in play. Everything except QB ball carrying stuff is in play. -

I don’t think he really is not that smart and some people are really bad speaking in public and especially off the cuff. A smart org would have had someone try and prepare him for the ambush questions, like in ‘Bull Durham’. And he is better than he is playing this year I don’t know what his deal is. QB makes it harder on everyone. -

Week 3 2023. The playbook limitation thing was absolutely demonstrated to be true. Again in Week 3 2024. It isn’t a secret except to people who won’t see because they don’t want to. -

I am always accused of hating him, but I think that s rough right there. Unless he gets benched and asks for his release, I don’t see the need to do that. And if we do have the balls to cut bait and bench him for good that is the way he should leave, on his request. I just want him off the field so I can maybe enjoy watching a game. He has been horrible for my viewing experience. I really do think he brings the team down because they know they are starting out handicapped. -

I would swap him for almost anyone. Would have a hard time finding someone I wouldn’t swap him for. Wait what am I saying? No one is going to trade us another QB for him. -

It is a far far sight from magic. That is the thing. Maybe magic wouldn’t be workded but this is total poo. -
I bet you are a lot of fun at parties.

The replies to that Tice video are hilarious. They accuse him of just watching highlights. I don’t believe that for second but if he just watched highlights and came away with that opinion, be glad he didn’t watch the rest of the game. Andy is night and day, you are back in the warm familair place of watching an NFL QB. Even in a loss viewing the game is just miles better. -

It would be fitting seeing as he is a huge globalist. His politics align with the EU as far as I can tell. And it fits our profile of constant disappointment. -
Round 3 - The Carolina Panthers Select DJ Johnson - EDGE - Oregon
strato replied to rodeo's topic in Carolina Panthers
My memory of the phone call after that pick was Evero or someone saying we just want you to set the edge or something similar. Asked him to do One Thing and in his 3rd year he has yet to learn it. -
This is going nowhere. My last word on this: There is no history of success in the 21st century NFL other than maybe Flutie if he played that long I don’t remember. So why consider a guy that was maybe 180 soaking wet and tippy toe 5’10? He has to roll out to see the field. 1st round? That is not a wise move 9 of 10 times. At least I’ll take my myopic chances and if he falls to the 4th or 5th maybe I take a shot.
-
Hell he is the beat guy and the biggest rumor/gossip was from a chick at the Athletic.
-
This Tep rep is a serious consideration. We had to take a guy who we knew wasn’t ready. One year as OC. You can him you may not get bottom of the barrel you may have to settle for what’s on the floor near the barrel

Okay you can’t be in my front office lol. That got us Bryce. Who would we have missed out on if we said minimum 6’ 200lb to make the cut? Murray? Like Parcels said, he better walk on water at that size. I mean I always thought Mike Glennon was just too tall lol. But out of full disclosure, footwork and arm should have excluded Bryce from serious high pick consideration at any size Keep in mind I do not exclude them on day 2 or 3.
