With that defense last year, I don’t know how you are supposed to have a balanced attack. Yeah, with Dalton the defense has to defend the whole field. A old school deep ball is in play. Everything except QB ball carrying stuff is in play.

I don’t think he really is not that smart and some people are really bad speaking in public and especially off the cuff. A smart org would have had someone try and prepare him for the ambush questions, like in ‘Bull Durham’. And he is better than he is playing this year I don’t know what his deal is. QB makes it harder on everyone.

I am always accused of hating him, but I think that s rough right there. Unless he gets benched and asks for his release, I don’t see the need to do that. I would swap him for almost anyone. Would have a hard time finding someone I wouldn’t swap him for. Wait what am I saying? No one is going to trade us another QB for him.

The replies to that Tice video are hilarious. They accuse him of just watching highlights. I don’t believe that for second but if he just watched highlights and came away with that opinion, be glad he didn’t watch the rest of the game. Andy is night and day, you are back in the warm familair place of watching an NFL QB. Even in a loss viewing the game is just miles better.

It would be fitting seeing as he is a huge globalist. His politics align with the EU as far as I can tell. And it fits our profile of constant disappointment.

This is going nowhere. My last word on this: There is no history of success in the 21st century NFL other than maybe Flutie if he played that long I don’t remember. I guess I did miss that point. Or I wasn’t clear. What I was saying is I would exclude people that don’t fit within my prototypical box. Dismiss them just out of hand. I would rather screw up by passing on a unicorn than being stuck like we got stuck. The evaluation of those who do fit in the box should proceed as normal.

I don’t see how it could be a lot worse. I am sure it could be but we are talking degrees and there are stretches of time where we have subjected to the worst QB play I can remember seeing, that didn’t come from a backup or a rookie. We blew it by paying that price to move into it. I would picked CJ of the two every time but I don’t think I felt like he was worth that price either. I hate trading future 1sts I just hate it, so that was never going to be okay with me. You can’t judge from one game but Giants took Dart at 25 and he won his first start - against a 3-0 team. Yeah WC team 1pm game in NYC is a huge disadvantage but I doubt people expected that. Yeah to your point I would rather take someone that you can sit until you think they are ready. They can be found.

See the player has not been up in here insulting people that disagree with him. You have. I am kind of the opposite. I mean he did this. He knows he did it. He isn’t totally an idiot, not close. It is his ego doing this and maybe it getting smacked down by the results of his meddling will embarrass him enough that he will leave it to the football people he overpays to make these judgements. But that is probably a fantasy
