  1. Just saying we don't get special treatment on the coast. What we have to pay for insurance would back that up. 35 years of all that stuff, in a high risk flood zone since this place went up. What's happened to those people up there is horrible. They have a hard road for a while.
  2. I am pretty sure he wouldn't have been the guy driving the decision. If he does a good job, and promises he learned his lesson and will never do that again, I'm okay with him. If he does a good job.
  3. Don't know about that. They have all kinds of loopholes. I can underhand throw a bottle or something into the marsh where am, front row. If the saltwater didn't ingress, but the wind blew the roof off let's say, or part of it and the rain ruins everything inside, flood people ain't paying. That includes any damage to the stairs, gutters, outside compressor Heat/AC. I got to beg to FEMA then.
  4. My mind was 95% certain he was not an NFL guy but I didn't have any idea that would be THAT horrible a second year. I was resigned to him being able to string us along and was also dreaming of the high pick after missing out this year. I said 17 games at the top of this, but also I figured I already knew and by 7 or 8 games it would be clear to everyone. Wanted to give him every benefit of the doubt so people would be able to see - time for the OL to get a groove and Brooks to be back and Legette to be worked in some. He is SO bad, poison on the field.
  5. We get to see him against Horn in practice. The staff does WRs, they are supposed to know his value. Yes to hearing offers before the deadline. And if you are going to pay top dollar, shop around. There will be options, at least see what they are.
  6. I'm not bitching about Burns. He wasn't going to be reasonable, let them pay him. I'm bitching about sacrificing the defense for the offense. They could have given the D back a taste. No, it's like: "defense, sell one of your guys so we can help Bryce be Drew Brees"; you will get nothing and like it lol. The defense got the short end the last three years. 3 years is too long for that to go on. Even shitty QBs can beat you if you get no pressure. And I love OL and I love that the offense looks professional, I do. Go figure, one player does that. But it's still the offense gets a steak and potato for dinner the defense gets a hot dog and chips.
  7. Yeah. I know. I am cranky over this toothless defense. all of a sudden having one matters.
  8. I don't hear any concession to the facts. Numbers say what they say. Peace.
  9. Imaginary pie ^ also, it is absurd for him and his people to be shocked at his demotion. Games, being played. Setting up their next one.
  10. Well, damn. Will you agree to Underfunding the defense? Because if not I struggle to align with your argument.
  11. When you see the seashell fossils in the mountains, and don't process that as being so much bigger than us, I think it's hard to say definitively what we could do about it anyway.
  12. I for sure see that as an impediment to signing or keeping guys. Tepper... fug your turf. Do the right thing.
  13. At his age and that position? He was a really good Panther, his loss is mourned. I think it's over. Tough break. On the selfish side, we weren't going anywhere so we can take the hit from that standpoint.
  14. Just going to opine that the defense needed more not less, which is reflected in point '1'. They took and did not replenish, however it is described with various words. I put this elsewhere but if bears consideration, for perspective. Just copied it to here. ---- 2022/23/24 draft picks 3rd round and higher... it went deeper, but the most impactful is 3rd and higher. Offense: 4 1sts, 3 2nds, probably more it is so convoluted 1 3rd DJ Moore Defense 2 3rds are the highest picks used for D. Over three drafts. And doesn't address the Burns subtraction and booty reallocation. It shows the path we have been on. For the defense, it's Casey Jones at the wheel, headed down that mountain with no brakes.
  15. I guess that would make it a real 2024 NFL deep ball. Because he likes getting his depth.
  16. I think we should have spread that booty around, too
  17. Please... There is no valid reason to compare him to anyone with actual NFL tools. That he completely lacks. A deep ball for this guy in week 2, was 12 yards. I'll send you an apology if he wins another starting job.
  18. Yeah for sure to this top half of your post. poo has nuance that gets overlooked.
  19. When they started blaming Canales and the other offensive players because Young was poo, I had a real issue.
  20. Absolutely. I was arguing this with someone bitching about our scouts. It came off of me saying that no one who knows what the NFL requires would have been behind this. The people that were making the decisions didn't need the scouts to bring the player to them, he was in everybody's face. The area scouts weren't signing off on him, but they probably weren't asked to, officially. Maybe they sit in meetings and listen and nod their heads but the decision is made by the high level offensive guys. And the owner and the wife of the owner The big dog QB people plus the big dog money man, they were the scouts on Bryce Young. All these top QB prospects, it's is the same.
  21. Yep. We still have chumps posting poo like all of the above. Completely still attached to their belief that he has NFL ability despite his obvious physical limitations. Zero credibility. The poo about so many coaches screwing him up? He got them fired. Thomas Brown called plays. Reich called plays. They were the same offense. The narrative is flipped upside down to benefit Young. Or their belief in Young. The next ones were brought in to help him and ended up in the same place as Reich. Why would that happen? Occam's Razor says Young couldn't execute more. Andy Dalton proved that 2023 week 3 vs Seattle.
  22. My question, why didn't they run behind Hunt with 1st and goal at their 2? 3rd and 4th down were away from him. they ran behind the weaker players. I thought they were weaker, and they failed, so... they could set a formation to keep people from loading up his side. they didn't. I love linemen and both are good ones but there are some aspects of this resource allocation I am looking at a little sideways. Like we can't get 2 yards in three running plays? I expected that adding them meant we would be able to get that a yard even when they know it is coming. And that poo didn't happen.
  23. I am gonna take up for A'Shawn Robinson. He is a decent piece. Complimentary maybe but with good players around him I think he has enough.
  24. Yeah we do not need to dig this hole any deeper. 2022/23/24 draft picks 3rd round and higher... it went deeper, but the most impactful is 3rd and higher. Offense: 4 1sts, 3 2nds, probably more it is so convoluted 1 3rd DJ Moore, Brian Burns (his picks and his money savings) Defense 2 3rds
  25. Can't process what you can't see. End of story. Out of pie and beer so Cheers..
