It affects the success/failure equation and we can understand that. Who did we even have the first game that Shaq and Jewel went down? I think we had another like A'Shawn or someone also out. It was impossible to stop an NFL team with what we had. I haven't followed them to know what games people missed and how it affected them but it affects t lose and it affects to get them back. Changes your team.

Things that make you go hmmm. Bryce Young is somehow a rookie in his second season and Brown is now somehow a HC.
-
We don't need stats when we watch every play and know what happened. For instance a couple three weeks back people listed his downfield numbers after a game or two and we watched him throw a rainbow ball that I think Coker came down with. That was like one of the two throws past maybe 15 yards that he had completed. It looks great on the sheet, you can point to his progress, but it was a wing and a prayer that worked out. The progress is that he at least threw the ball downfield so we had a chance, where he would choke on that previously. It is completely about his footwork, let's just see what happens. .

I was real disappointed in SC's secondary or very impressed with Klubnik and their WRs- however that goes - because Clemson was eating. And not allowing SC to do anything on the ground except Sellers breaking out. Until late. I watched a few 4th quarters this year and Sellers is a badass. His passing will be fine with some more time, I think.

Clemson shutting down the run is winning it for them.
-
Well, no. There isn't another lol. But the spend would not compare.
-
Well, I'd like getting any QB tbh. But Sellers is gonna be really good.

And somehow Brown is in line to be their HC. Kind of unbelievable that they have so much from us, now they they get their coach too. Not that I was saying to keep him, I wasn't. He is Lazarus Brown afaic.

Inside the one season, massive growth.

The guys on the '03 SB team should almost all be legends. Our first SB team.
-
He is like high school Cam or better right now. I mean he isn't Auburn Cam but he is coming on. I want the guy, looking at '26.

They got people like that but I mean, go back to the 1970s and you had the outlaw movement which was the same thing basically, a reaction against what at the time they called Countrypolitan - with strings and sweeteners and very narrow artistic type of value system. The style of countrypolitan changes but the game remains.

Watch the Ravens make the SB and everybody ahead of Diontae is hurt and he gets the start. That's about what he has to hope for the way it's going.

Chris Long: Bryce Young Went Toe To Toe With Patrick Mahomes
strato replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Let's keep the hype down to 11. He doesn't have a stronger arm than Jake. That is just ridiculous on its face, regardless of who was slowing down for what on what day for what reason. -

You said he had a better arm than Jake or some such nonsense. Damn, talking about herring. I thought that was beneath you, honestly. It isn't true. -
Lol. Good thanks for pointing this out.

That might accurate if you had accused me of being under the top. I gave him his large credit for standing in weeks ago, but reasonable is reasonable. -
It was mental alright.

Go ahead and subtract the first two games, I think one of them he did absolutely nothing. It will look worse. But his first game with Dalton I think he got 122 yards or something.
-
I'm sure he didn't want to be traded to the Panthers. Who would? Maybe a QB I guess. He fuged up by showing he wasn't about the team, or he would still be here. If he ran his routes like he was supposed to, he'd still be here. Couple more if/thens in play. He just, fuged it all up, and will be getting a prove it deal for a lot less money than he is even getting now, I bet.

Jake Delhomme didn't have to stand on his tippy toes to throw lol. Y'all stop with the totally over the top praise and I'll stop with the snapping you back to reality. Praise is fine, he earned it but this revisionist poo is revisionist. -
I think most of us have a horrible taste in our mouthes that he put there, and we want to make sure we don't end up with that for another long season. If people don't like that, tough. He has the rest of the year, at least as of today, to show the raised level of his passing game isn't temporary. People aren't denying it is much better, but let's see the proof for more than one game. Are we gonna be right back to 125 yards next week? It is a fair question.

Sometimes the deal you don’t make is the BEST DEAL…. LOL @ Giants
strato replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah that is highly accurate. I'm sure he did something decent but almost everywhere you look it was bad. I'm on board with judging Morgan for what happens under his authority, when it is his rep on the line with these decisions. They made the right decision on Burns this year, and Burns pushed them to it. For 5 mil less per season we might still have him, so I appreciate Burns for going the extra mile with the greed. -
Forget about Bryce, Dave Canales is who we should be talking about.

I understand all that. I understand totally that we were conditioned to accept less and be happy with it. If you want to remove wonders and use great job I'm cool with it. This is what I see, the track record of his roller coaster like dropoff notwithstanding: his mechanics are night and day. The ball is mostly coming out quicker. If he does not abandon the mechanics in panic he will be consistently better than he was. The ball will go more where he wants it, and get there quicker. After that I can't say because what else we have here is a guy who can't see over people but isn't quite fast enough to outrun modern NFL pass rushers for long. He has small margins and has to be 'on' or it won't work so well. He is not good at securing the ball when being hit. And stuff is getting on film and will be dissected. I suspect we saw his ceiling or really close to it, and he has to hit that every week. We'll see. -

That poo was a wonder that I saw compared to last year my man.
