  1. That is my favorite thing they have ever done, by far probably. LOLOL keep pounding that poo.
  2. Been thinking I am seeing it and am glad he confirmed. I liked him right off, as a football guy, and knew what a huge job he was undertaking. Decided to give him a season pass. He is going to have hiccups in the mechanics of gameday and we just have to take the hit. It's gonna happen, no matter how great yesterday went. I am gonna say they did get to evaluate the roster just fine with their preseason approach. Bryce is worthless, all the reps in the world wouldn't have made him magically be what he isn't. And Andy doesn't look like he needed it. I think they found some guys. Maybe they would have been fooled without a better tryout policy. Do it in a game.
  3. They seem much more measured in their analysis and coverage. I could have missed it but most of the offensive apology worthy stuff was elsewhere.
  4. Basically my take too. There is no way a real NFL guy can buy into what Bryce offers, if they do they're going down with the ship. I think this happened mostly after he got in and assessed his position. He saw the path out of the dilemma. A big selling point for me was I liked what I heard from him and the rep he was getting fit like a glove if were to move on from Bryce. Head us back in the right direction. Which is still my hope. I had no faith in Young, I tried but could only rationalize him being good to a point and would just hit a wall before I could get to where it needed to be. That passing chart made after the Chargers is a good illustration of where the wall was.
  5. Oh, also he didn't say "get up on your tippy toes and throw it over their heads" joking not arguing here
  6. I mean, how many times have we used 'shortcomings', 'falling short' just in normal use, and then we see the pun? Lol at editing yourself all the time to worry about that.
  7. The biggest tip off for detecting journalistic ulterior motives this year was the OL and WR excuse. If they are using that, they are dishonest. Intentionally, accidentally, whatever. Hard to say which one is worse. Here is the theme: there is a want to 'get' Tepper. They'll say whatever they think they need to say. And they really do not care about who they hurt in the process. They ruin careers. I have heard some of the worst poo in history lately, mostly from the network TV people, but radio as well. Anyway this is exactly what they are doing to Canales, to Morgan, the OL, the WRs. The guy that collects tickets isn't off limits. I
  8. They were slanderous. I thought it couldn't get worse than Ryan, and then here comes that joke Bruschi.
  9. If wishes were horses.. what will people pay for a QB3? I don't actually think anyone smart enough the stay in the NFL would trade for him.
  10. Wow we still have Bryce stans. You guys need to wake up. He can't play in the NFL it doesn't matter if somebody on ESPN says he can.
  11. Hmm, maybe Tepper can just give him his jet, and call it even. Fly away Bryce, off into the sunset. It's been a real pressure. To the thread title... I don't imagine Young has much confidence, but he has steadily lived down to my expectations.
  12. Rex Ryan and Teddy Bruschi need to be freaking fired. If they would have said those things about someone in their club.... well they won't because they don't have the balls. I am sad that Thomas has to 'stretch the truth' about Bryce in order to get cover for speaking his mind.
  13. Just like how he plays QB. Little man had two very rude wakeup calls this week, busted his safe space all up. Let's give The Processor a chance to process that. If they want him gone I wash my hands too, but I wouldn't do it for just bad play. Financials matter. Depending on how it goes this year there may be a late season chance to try and showcase him for the offseason.
  14. What I think about it won't matter, but if he is not causing problems we have a lot tied up in him. He is a big cap charge. The only leg the Youngs have to stand on is that the team ruined him. There is no more, crappy coaching, no talent around him, that is washed away. So, he is ruined or he just sucks. Those are the choices. They have to go with ruined. Not a big selling point. They will understand that the only real option is to stay put and try to rehab. I would keep him the year and offseason at least just for the money. Which he gets regardless of how bad he is.
  15. Traded Dante for Diontae and upgrades Dante with our 7th (that they cut). Not water into wine but pretty slick.
  16. At least shop an Alabama jersey on him, he ain't no pro.
  17. Hey, I have not called for his death. Just to never see him again lol. I am sick of the sight of him. Sorry.
  18. Those guys should be embarrassed. Their boss should be embarrassed. Canales, shoved it up their asses. He shouldn’t be embarrassed..
  19. I picked 6 with Bryce lol, you don't want to know. I don't want to know. Teams are just now rounding into shape. A few years back this would have been game 2. I don't know that the team knows how to not lose, to (not) snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, that usually comes after a season of being close (but mostly losing). Seems to me. I expect the home field will be gooder than it has been, I think we'll beat some teams. I really hope to keep any losses close and know we had a chance. I have looked at this week as the week to start grading stuff, and two years straight with Bryce at QB we didn't need to wait. This poo with Dalton, he can throw the ball. If we protect him we'll win probably 7, maybe maybe 9 if we keep these players on the field. Who knows....
  20. They weren't prepared to run the ball. That's what held them back as much anything I thought. That Baltimore trip took a lot out of them I bet. Lots of energy spent on winning that one. We may have a little let down off of this, but we got those run blocking guys getting better each week.
  21. We got a bunch of litmus tests out of this if nothing else.
