I think Andy is looking around at guys busting their asses and Bryce is doing nothing to help them, he is fact impeding them. I think Andy wants to rescue some of his teammates and plus smell the roses one more time. You work your whole life to be something and they take it away, it sucks. He knows he is a better QB but has had to sublimate his ego for Bryce’s benefit. And has been exemplary. Andy is going to enjoy this day.

At this point in time, who feels like we lost this trade?

Delusional is an excellent description. And don’t wake me up with factual stuff like he 15-20 pounds lighter and a good 2” shorter than Brees. Hell no. Don‘t look at that hitch in his footwork or how he really has to give all his effort to throw balls that guys flick their wrists to make the same or better throws. It is right there on video. -
So, what wouldn’t be acceptable from Dalton? The guy has been a pro since Bryce was 12. He probably will be rusty but he’ll look better fuging up than Bryce ever did.

There are people in here right now that still, after all we have seen, have refused to accept any narrative that doesn’t have Bryce as the victim. You can’t fight that without getting worn out it was speculation until NFL games are in the books, because the people who will not accept what you are trying to tell them, can say you can’t prove that. Peyton had a horrible rookie year, never Jamarcus Russell had a horrible rookie year. Until Bryce throws his first NFL INT I couldn’t prove to some people that he was capable of throwing one. -
So, I read the team says it does not plan to trade him. He is traded tomorrow, and the internet erupts with outrage, because they said something different and this means.... outrage!!! The world today, a ball of confusion (Temptations 1:3).

They have only played together two weeks. I remember I was pissed Lewis was AWL (away with leave) and they weren't getting work.

ESPN won't shut up until they get their vigil going on Mint Street for the Young trade watch.

You really can't without on field play. We had no NFL evidence in June of 2023 so there was only speculation anyway. I stayed a lot away until the season. Then it is fair game because it isn't college anymore. -

That wasn't the shot unless you had identified CJ as the target. Thinking that Bryce Young was a future NFL star QB, that's a big problem. -

You hang in there like a pit bill, I'll give you that. I think you may learn who the real number one in that room is, tomorrow. -
Yeah. Agree. I am really feeling good about the OL. So far corbett, no problem. Icky can be the problem child but it is a lot easier to work around one guy than 3. And he may turn the corner, who knows.

The only thing I can recall recently is Baker's start in 2022. I think he pulled it together in the second half a little but the next game was not good either. As I recall.
-
He needs a time out. He needs to Not dig his hole even deeper. It has sure looked like that would be more likely than not. Also, his play is causing division in the locker room.
-
I think there is some simpatico going on with that agency and ESPN to be honest. There is a concerted narrative push.
-
Because he is a disaster. He was getting no better at all. Hurting the team. But the FoMO is real, they want to try and fix him a little and see if he responds with better play, I guess.
-
If people want to put it all on the Panthers, let them if the price is right. If that is the plan.

Let me start asking YOU some stuff. You can answer and you can defend YOUR position. Bring it. What fuging difference does what an analyst says matter when the guy shows you who he is? Have you watched the 2024 film analysis from numerous independent sources and not ESPN? What did they have to say? The stuff is all over the place here . Warner. Chase Daniels. And what might it tell you that the dude that does QB school, did not even bother to make one for Young? But check his week one edition.
-
Well, give up or not, you paid big time for 4 years of control and the 5th year option. If you were certain he just was a drag on things you may not care about that but that isn't nothing. For one thing that should really attractive to a suitor, if there are any. And there are always suitors for QBs. The play is to have that Buffalo drive in an official game, even if it is just garbage time. I don't see non garbage time defenses giving him anything but if somehow you could get a matchup where he could look good then you stick him in there and hope he can look like more than he is. Maybe you can get a much better return. If they really think he is an NFL starter then no way they should trade him. I actually trust the staff to make that call.
-
You know what narratives. I shouldn't have to help you with this. They have been going on for a year about it isn't Bryce's fault. They use the same WR, OL bad coaching stuff. Never his fault always something else. poo is is all over this board and the media. Look I will agree with you when Bryce Young goes somewhere, wins the starting job, and proves it was never his fault.

Point is people were hammering people for saying truth, because it ruined your safe optimistic space. Whatever. -
'Too much' What's that? 'Too much change from Sunday to Monday' is an opinion my friend. An employee of some type stating their interpretation of how the thing went down. It might be right but it is a fact, that that is an opinion. Do you think she was getting her Hunger Games plot from players or people in the building, that are on the Panthers staff? I think her contacts are media types, people that work in the building and hear stuff. Could it have been a couple of fired coaches and cut players for that Hunger Games? Yeah could be that too. But she got her intel from people on the inside somewhere, and my guess is that is where it is coming from this time, in the building, without someone specifically saying what their role is. Could even be Gantt, easily.

Darnold didn't ball out in SF which was his next stop. 2 games now. I think he is gonna be fine though. Mayfield, well he went to work with Canales, and did well. The same guy that just stored Bryce in his garage with the golf clubs and fishing rods.

I just read that article. In regards to Tepper being the instigator, the article just says "even people on the Panthers". Doesn't say players. And what they said was "Too much change from Sunday to Monday". It's no more than an opinion of an employee. We don't know what they know. Though, as far as I am concerned whoever made the call to pull him, it is the right call. Wish they could have been that smart a year and a half ago.
