  1. He has been 1st class all the way. He knows the game, on the field, off the field.
  2. I have done that so many times in this little galaxy here. But once again... in probably different words but there are only so many ways you can explain un-athletic by league standards, tiny by league standards, vs not. If a person doesn't want to look at the way things are, I can't keep doing it for them. Stroud has a better outcome in any NFL environment, great or horrible because he is a better passer with NFL size. Give them the same roster, he will beat Young out head to head. He is a fit for the league and Young does not fit the league.
  3. Get to shoppin' on that picture, there is much potential.
  4. This kind of talk makes me look at the "we want football players, guys who love it" type of talk from Damn and Canales in a little different light. Kind of like the 'big man's game' stuff.
  5. I really don't buy the change of scenery or the he is ruined because.... The is ESPN they suck to be honest.
  6. I couldn't understand the Bryce love just, at all. Probably because I had no bias from watching Alabama games (or OSU). I only looked at college QBs because it became important. But the personal feelings of loyalty? Why? What has he done? Earn it. edit: IOW, CJ is better, would been better here. I do not believe Bryce would have succeeded anywhere last year - or this year. It is the NFL, a big man's game (lol Damn Morgan).
  7. Hmmm, a QB that could make all the throws, vs Bryce Young and his lil passing chart? You don't need to know the lottery numbers.
  8. I hope he goes away totally. 'Private island' away. I need a break from having consciousness of his existence after all the fuging trauma he has inflicted. It will be so nice not seeing a high school looking kid out there trying to hang with the 1st team. edit: I mean it has been like dad had a connection and got his kid a tryout. And the team had to play along.
  9. Wow most of his opening argument is off. We know the defense is down, we can see open WRs, blah blah blah this guy sometimes.
  10. Okay, first: He could suck and I will still like watching him at QB better. It will look more like football. That said, I'll put it this way, NFL basics are back at QB. We are meeting our minimums again. We have been far from that. I thought Dalton's interview was really good. Gave me some encouragement. Y'all remember George Blanda and Earl Morral? It isn't about this week, so I'll let that be.
  11. He had a year on tape, he had the entire offseason, Bryce just totally failed the test. So bad that it wasn't borderline. I guess that is the one thing I will give him credit for, he left no doubt and made it an easy decision. As far as Canales, you guys will get off his back if you know what's best. He has a lot of headroom to grow. This is a trial by big fire. It's hot. He is handling it so far. [you can have a different opinion, I've heard the outcoached. I'll just say I like how he is handling it] He doesn't bullshit much except for the sunshine stuff at times. His focus is really good, it is on the right things (offensively anyway), in my opinion. We haven't seen his offense. They surely hired him at TB with an eye for him complimenting their philosophy and being a good match but he had guidance from someone and parameters to work inside. Like joining a band in a style of music. You are gonna lay off what you like to do that doesn't fit with them. He doesn't have any guidance right now other than what he wants it to be. I think he's pretty sharp. Optimistic about him.
  12. It still isn't about winning so you may have a false impression. The Kind is dead, long live the king. Not so much, it more the usurper has been exposed and we can back to the business of trying to improve the team without a 180 pound ball and chain.
  13. If that is true we might be back in business. Maybe Tepper really is going to be more hands off. To me this feels like 184 pound weight taken off of my chest relative to the Panthers.
  14. What the hell were they looking at?
  15. Of course he is. But that isn't why he is out. He is out because he was not cutting it.
  16. That poo is so nasty Bryce needs the classic porn black rectangle over eyes in the picture
  17. That was what I was hoping to see him do, in a post that was really just a fantasy. But I think Tepper finally smelled the coffee. There was a multi faceted hire. Primary goal oriented but there is a secondary component which we also have to remember. Canales had the status as a QB guy so "if this one doesn't work, I have the guy to keep me from making the same mistake already hired".
  18. NFL tape doesn't. Pro day tape didn't either. That Alabama tape must have told some whoppers.
  19. We are going to see a deep throw and maybe even .... a CATCH!
  20. Somesomething Andy Dalton's wife makes great cookies and he eats them every gameday? (with his teammates)
  21. Up all night dealing with a storm. Woke up too late to catch the start of the PC but dayum. For all we know Tepper told him. I agree though, if Canales has those kinds of ball he's my guy. This does't feel like a victory, I am a little sad for the kid despite the torment of him being a Panther and the cost of it. But it is nice to look forward to a game where the team has an NFL tested QB. That passed the test.
