I don’t think he is a good candidate to get for a bargain any more. That was draft time and we probably should have done something to push the current starter, for once. But I understand the reluctance to get involved in a potential circus.

Did Bryce Young have a list of teams he wouldn’t play for? You are mad because he earned being a top college recruit and the top pick in the draft. So weird. Any “competitive hurdle” placed between a #1 overall pick and the starting job is a farce and everybody knows it. What you are talking about is the coach and team playing make believe just for appearances sake. The competitive hurdle already happened in putting out the college tape to be the #1 pick.
What is the point in comparing these 2 completely different QBs and situations? Oh yeah, just another opportunity to whine about Bryce Young.
Lol caught one with a treble hook. Where is my hook remover?
You can’t say silver spoon path to the NFL. Sports parents. Didn’t have to beat anyone out here in Carolina. To this day.
Don’t point that poo out to anybody though because it messes with their safe space.

Worse than that you shouldn’t have a job. If you do they are looking for a way out.
Seriously, This season I see three games. Dallas Atlanta LA Rams. There are 10 other games of not so great. Why don’t people see this?-

I find it shameful that Renfro came back to play and wanted it to be with us and he has been nothinged/nobodied all season.
He knows how to get open.-

George Washingstan said father, I cannot tell a lie. I picked my stats out of a cherry tree.
Or something like that.-

He was great for Rock Hill.
This is rich woman vanity hobby stuff. Dave is happy she is out of his (imaginary) hair while he makes Panthers decisions.

They’re not going after any QBs. Little man is ‘in’.

He's working his way back in. I say good. If we take the division from them it will be that much more enjoyable to do so while they are at full strength.
I guess we fans are allowed to look forward past this week’s game. Players better not be or it might not matter much.

Saints are 1-5 in the Dome. They beat the NYG who Tankathon has in the top pick ahead of LV by slightly weaker SOS.
The Saints’ win, cost them that top spot. They would be in the 1.1 right now. They aren’t good.
I think show up and pass block because we are going to have to throw.
Running a pass first plan with Bryce is risky as hell but they will likely stack the box again and force us to punt a lot or take some shots. OL really needs to keep their pass blocking straight. -
17 games with the kind of load where you gain over 200 yards a game even half the time there isn’t a back who won’t get beat down and that not show up on the field.
I think the best answer is keep the OL strong enough for regular guys to run for gains. Let people sign our one year wonders to the bigger deals and just reload.
The only real inhibitor there is pass blocking. You have to have guys that are decent at it. -
I asked in Person’s mail bag last season about who did the Texas surgery and who did the 2nd one and he never addressed it. Now there is finally something.
Glad a different surgeon was used.
And I disagree that he should not have been used last year.
If he hadn’t we probably don’t have Dowdle, and are surprised when the knee fails - which it was going to do if it wasn’t right.
So we tested his knee last year and found out what we had, and had no 2025 surprises.
That was the right move. Unfortunate outcome but left us in a much better position to make adjustments.

Not well enough to justify what teams have to put up with.
Terrell Owens was a phenomenal player, but teams kept dumping him because the drama was too much. Sanders is nowhere close to the kind of player Owens was, so he won't get as much leeway.
As far as "the question", when it comes to entitled brats, problem children, headcases, etc. It's only that simple for the fans that have no contact with him other than watching them on TV. For the coaches, players and others that have to deal with them every day, it's not simple at all.
He has not showed himself to be TO. Not close. Your baggage, for some reason.
This is tiresome. He doesn’t seem like that bad a kid. We know dad has a huge mouth and ego. I haven’t kept up to see what extent Deion has inserted himself into that situation in Cleveland but it seems like if he were causing trouble we would hear about it.
He was a 5th round pick I think and was embarrassed nationally on draft day and also with the Falcons coach’s son prank calling him, it doesn’t appear that he has had an easy time of it and is getting a chance to play. I’ll judge him on what actually happens moving forward.

Bryce's parents are middle class. Athletes are not paying to go to those powerhouse private high-schools.
I haven’t looked at their tax returns but are they not professionals? With Masters and PhDs?
I seriously doubt he lacked for any material stuff with that kind of base.
I could be wrong but did they not move the family to facilitate his football dream? Pretty sure he was given every advantage they could give him.
Deion is more connected and embedded in the football world and doesn’t lack financial resources, but Bryce’s parents were well funded. -
Sycophants sold out to Young falsely portray doubters as not wanting to win.
Lame. We want to win. Of course. But one barely winning season at 9-8 doesn’t prove poo in the big picture. It feels good, sure. Fine.
It is more we don’t believe Young, so far, has demonstrated that he is the answer. And having the answer is far more important to us than a single season’s winning record. That maybe… maybe, happens by a game.
How many real games has he had that can demand we bow down to a multi year commitment and declare the issue settled? Not enough for us. And that is the big picture objective.I would bet collectively we see the people who are sold off of the three or four good games while ignoring equal numbers of bad games - some that we somehow still won, some we lost - as not having high enough standards.

Also.. Let’s not mention the obvious double standard applied here. Look at our QB’s history of entitlement. His parents are well off and catered to him big time. Best schools, coaching, rosters, totally elite poo. His path was basically paved with gold.
It continued in college and it continues here. He did not have a single competitive hurdle placed in between him and the starting job here. Just handed to him.
The Sanders kid had to earn it for sure.
Double standard. One for Bryce, one for Deion’s kid.
Do I want him? Not really. A little gun shy of his dad’s meddling. Would prefer not to be opened up to that can of worms. But he is having to earn his place more than our guy has.

The word there is entitlement.
And no, NFL teams aren't gonna want to deal with that...nor should they.
Realistically, if he didn't have his dad's name behind him, nobody would be hyping this kid as the next big thing.
That sounds like your baggage. Can he play or not? That is the question.

He's following logic set forth by the great 17th century football coach John Milton
A rookie with a losing record in college refusing to sit behind a well established NFL starter is definitely a red flag.
Yeah. Well you want a clear path you don’t want to be blocked. Loser winner whatever.

Finally in a convo where we arent in the bottom tier
Yeah. For sure we are no longer bottom tier, on the whole. We still have some days like that but overall the floor is higher to the point we are off the bottom.
The rating in that graphic is really overrating us.

I am not on his jock but not sure why wanting to avoid being behind Lamar Jackson is worthy of scorn.
That could be a 4 year sentence to having pine splinters in his butt. Which might be good for him for a couple of years… not 4 though.

I've been saying the Bucs are not the team some have anointed them to be. They can be solid they can be really good at times due to some of the talent they have taking over games but on the whole compared to past iterations of division rivals they are certainly vulnerable and Baker despite all the hype still has those wtf games.
Man I really hope this team turns a corner from here and stomps a mud hole in the Saints in New Orleans. The stars are aligned. If there was ever a time to put up or shut up it's now.
Aren’t they getting Mike Evans back?

I don't think it has much to do with that. You just can't keep increasing the amount of games without this being inevitable.
fug PS spots, the NFLPA should push for larger game day rosters the next time 18 games comes up.
They should tell the NFL they won’t even consider more games until the rosters are expanded.
The owners’ greed is killing this goose.

Yeah. Tough end to what started out as a good story for him and the Colts.
The fun is just starting for the sideline headset wearing owner women.
They gave up their next two 1st round picks for a cornerback. And from what little I saw, really should not have done that.-
