    I don’t get why he’d want Denver. Maybe the Waltons are giving him a Walmart store full of cash.

    Without the Goat they may not have won a game. They looked terrible with him most of the season.

    If the cards don’t fall right it may be the most disappointing. The next 5 years hang in the balance. No coach and no QB. Trade or give Burns crazy money.

    How does he get help in Charlotte? No big time free agents are coming here. They either luck out in the draft or it’s game over.

    He is good maybe not great. Granted he is surrounded with mediocre to bad players. If they get the #1 pick (not holding my breath) then it is a game changer with Wemby.

    Oh what could have been if they tanked it up and traded Burns for that Rams haul. It may have turned the franchise for the next decade.

    It’s been a bad year. Tua concussion issues, that Giants player doing snow angels while Foles was down, now Hamlin. Parents still let their kids play football??? Very risky sport.

    If the NFL indeed left it for the players/coaches to refuse to continue play then there will be major fallout.

    Hamlin given cpr on the field in front of the players and the world....but they were going to give them 5 min to warm up and process what happened before resuming play...heartless.

    They may have had less of an idea what’s going on than we do. May have been waiting for an announcement on the player.

    All it takes is for Roger to call it. Should have been done after he was given cpr on the field. The big wheels can work out the next steps after that. Zero reason they should have dragged it out this long. If the kid were to die there won’t be football next weekend imo.

    I had a co worker who’s son collapsed at football practice and died a few days later. He had a rare condition that wasn’t caught. Just awful.

    The NFL is not at fault for the unfortunate crisis but they absolutely are for what they choose to do. They should have already canceled the game. The fact they are dragging their feet is mind boggling to me.

    Those fans may as well head to the exits. If he has a pulse and is not breathing on his own his life is in jeopardy and there won’t be any updates good enough to warrant the game continuing.

    If the league doesn’t cancel it and they leave it to the players to refuse to play then it is a beyond a pathetic look for the NFL.

    The fact there is zero updates on the guy is troubling. Usually they’d say how the player is doing by now.

    I was watching that Hornets game when he collapsed. Sad they didn’t catch his heart condition.

    If they don’t cancel it there will be crazy blowback for not doing it.

    I’m thinking a ruptured artery or clot knocked loose from the hit. Could have an underlying heart condition like Reggie Lewis but I doubt that since it happened right after the hit.

    This is something far worse than a concussion

    That guy must be in really bad shape. Hopefully nothing life threatening like a ruptured aorta.
