If one didn't know better they might get the impression that they are trying to work out a long term deal for Baker with the background check they are doing on him. One would think they were going to give up a couple of 1st round picks or something doing all this do diligence on him.

My response back to them would be "hell no".

When it's all said and done they will have about 30+ million (that includes Darnold's salary to hit the street) in Mayfield for one season of drama and maybe 1 or 2 more wins.

Why am I not surprised by this. I get gamesmanship and all but Rhule is an odd duck. I just do not get playing a rookie out of position from the start. One would think you would want to get them ready to go at their natural position before seeing what else they can do, but not here. I guess they value universal ( fits everywhere but not good at any) oline players more than one being great at one spot and so so at others.

Maybe to toxic folks should be the ones forced to stop posting? Oh that's right they are now mods and tender box regulars.
