Knock that positive poo out. Its only gloom and doom for people like the OP and myself. This dumpster is on fire and no one has to take a piss.

Rest easy my friend. What's one more clown in this circus? It will at least be entertaining. It cost us next to nothing to see it so it's all good.

Profootballrumors has keep me informed on the NFC south for the last couple years. It's like what profootballtalk was 15 years ago.
I still think falcons run away with it this year and next. But cousins has to show his age and injury haven't sat him back any.
Panthers need lots of luck, great drafts, and young to be good....then maybe in 4 or so years they can take back the crown.
I agree it's the Falcons to lose this year and probably the next. There's too many things that must go right for the Panthers for them to be a serious threat this year at least.
The Falcons must win the Division this year or things will get extremely uncomfortable for that coaching staff down there.

For a #1 overall pick, young had some of the worse footwork in history. It was like he's never even done drills once. Even old frank seen how bad and thought "no point in working on this, take too long to fix..."
I honestly don't think Frank wanted to develop a rookie. He would have much preferred a vet if given the choice. Whatever the plan was when he was hired went up in smoke the second Fitterer traded up for the first pick. I will never be convinced otherwise unless it comes from Frank's own mouth.

Think he wanted to be here back when we had him. Older player, close to home and family. Easier life.
I think he did. But Fitterer gonna fit. He would be a great bandaid for a year or two if it comes to that.

still not sure about that whole corbett to center thing.
we have to draft a guy.
That's my biggest worry on the offense line. Will he stay healthy and be able to hold down the job? If not who replaces him, another scrub? I want a long term solution found before Colbert breaks down as he most likely will.

haven't heard much since he put Dan/Dave in place. So far, things seem good?
The plan is good. We will have to wait a couple of years to see if the execution of said plan was successful.

Music to my ears. I certainly hope they can pull it off. Tepper is the wildcard though.

I knew this was coming at some point. It is an attempt to reduce ankle injuries on the player being tackled. If you look closely at the photo in the tweet the runner has all the defenders weight on his ankle. I've heard it discussed leading up to this. Don't shoot the messenger.

Taking page out of @TheSpecialJuan's play book I see.

The first was that Morgan apparently liked a post about going after Williams and the latest was that we're brining him in for a visit.
Thank you my friend.

For those not wanting to give folks clicks what does it say?

He will be a priority. He's just is not on the list of top priorities until after the draft. Be patient.

You bring in talent regardless of who is behind center.

That's a great write up! I can tell you put a lot of research and thought into it. Judging by the visits there is a lot of focus on wr. I too believe they are taking a wr in this draft which is stating the obvious. They have looked at receivers that they have in mind in any round. That opens up options at other positions any round as well. I still hope they stick with bpa and not draft for need.

I mean, there is nothing here to actually blow up.
the big argument from here last year was they FINALLY were investing in the offense too. That's why I don't think a lot of outsiders are viewing this as much more than rearranging the chairs.
It may end up that way sure. But what was done for the last few years did not address anything. It ended up nothing more than bandaids that came off in the shower. They have been half-assing this build ever since Tepper bought the team. At least this time they are going about it the right way. Whether they get the players right is yet to be seen but this is how you rebuild.

I think you guys should narrow your search to young guys with something to prove and willing to take a 2 year deal befitting their current situation, and vets willing to sign the equivalent to a 1 year contract. That's about all this team is going to do in FA this year.
