    7-17 record as a head coach. Any other corporate manager would be out of work with a 40% rate of success. Only in the world of sports do a lot of unsuccessful managers keep getting hired by someone who thinks anything will change.

    If you think Tepper cares about winning or losing, you are mistaken. He makes money off this team regardless. If he cared about winning or losing, we would not have guys like Darnold, Mayfield, Burns, Wilks, McAdoo, Fitterer in the organization.

    One need look no further than the "crowd" in attendance to know the Carolina Panthers are an Irrelevant franchise, being run no better than it was under JR, and the fans who continue to support this effort deserve to be grifted of every penny they spend being a fan.

    Divisions allow for scheduling ease, for both regular and post season. And to suggest seeding isn't the answer, the NCAA seems to have found the answer for March Madness. Don't see losing teams in the tournament. And, should your team ever finish a season as a 12-5 wildcard and have to go on the road to play a 7-10 "division champ," then come talk to me.

    Then there's this: The Bahamas Bowl (Miami- Ohio v. UAB): attendance- 12,172 The Cure Bowl (UTSA v. Troy): attendance- 11,911 The Las Vegas Bowl (Florida v. Oregon St): attendance- 29,750

    Taking into account the number of players who decide they'll sit out a bowl game, the transfer portal and other players being ineligible because they declared for the draft ahead of the bowl game, it's only a matter of time before some school has to forfeit a bowl game because they can't field a team.
