Doesn't matter how many SOG if they're all coming from outside the dots with no net front. The Canes have a couple smallish centers that were easily pushed out of the way and Daccord saw everything coming his way.
-
Seattle is easily the best team of the 4 opponents on this road trip. Why not put your worst goalie out there?
-
Canes are gonna need 1 this period to have a chance.
-
Fug you Freddie. Stevie Wonder could have held that post. Why the fug did he vacate the fugging post?
-
Should yanked Freddie during the review...lol
-
Owns o-zone time, own SOG, and find themselves down 1 and without a PP.
-
The goalie takes the shooter and the D takes away the pass. That was soft.
-
Ehlers puck handling and quicks are very underrated.
-
There are no b2b's in the playoffs, right? No real reason to start Freddie unless a series goes to 6 or 7 games and Bussi just needs a rest. Or, you go up 3-0 in a series and give Freddie a start.

4 games in Seattle and Western Canada. Seriously, none of these 4 teams are that good, but I know better than to expect a 4-game sweep. Surprise me, please! Not hearing anything on the TDL front, either?

To be fair, my day is the 24th, but the wife plans a few celebrations. Had dinner with friends at Capital Grille one night, Blackberry Smoke concert another, and this weekend in Vegas. Happy Birthday
-
Best concert ever. And the wife and I travel a lot to concerts. The visuals are mind-blowing and there are a couple hundred thousand speakers inside- best sound system ever. Crystal clear. 20260228_205512.mp4

Fanduel won't let me watch on my phone. The only time I do watch on my phone is when I'm traveling and they say it's been more than 30 days. Farging bastiges.

In Vegas celebrating my 70th. To the Sphere tonight for the Eagles. Should be able to catch the whole game before going in to the show.

Canes vs Lightning 7pm Thursday

Bussi high glove is the scoring spot. Tripp and Will the Thrill both said several times it takes more time to get back on track defensively. That said, the #2 & #3 lines were rolling. Robinson is back strong. Chatty had a really good game. -

Slavin has a gold, Jarvy with silver and Aho with bronze. Good showing by the boys in Raleigh. -

Why wasn't here even considered? Better record and save % than any of t he 3 goalies on the US squad. -

The officials have apparently been given the directive to make sure the gold medal match is US v Canada. Slavin trips Ehlers, who slides into net, knocking it off the posts and Ehlers gets called. Brady Kfug is a penalty machine. He's getting away with cross checks and head shots at will. Swayman gives up a goal from the red line. Yes, the red line. -

The US Men's team must be feeling pretty confident going into today's game against Latvia. The top line features Eichel in the middle with the Tkachuck brothers on the wings. All the depth on the roster and that's what they came up with? -

I can imgine. That last game before the break with the Canes was as gutless as I've ever seen from the Rags. Of course, the guys were still feeling the nut-punch they took after Drury traded Panarin for peanuts the day before? -

The half-dressed guy who got on the field had more yards than the Pats. -

Both of New England's TDs were scored when Maye went into "wing it and fling it" mode. As Deac said, when he did run, he ran well. And, while some of the criticism of Sam Darnold may be warranted, Super Bowl history is littered with QBs who didn't light up the scoreboard but still came away with championships. Matter of fact, ever seen the list of Super Bowl winning QBs who didn't even throw a TD pass? Namath SB3, Griese SB8, McMahon SB20, Aikman SB28, Elway SB32, Roethlisberger SB40, Peyton Manning SB 50, Brady SB53. -

So the next time the NFL seeks RFPs, go for it. Apparently, the NFL has no issues with the partnership, although, it's obvious some fans do. But, if people are honestly basing their decision whether or not to watch a football game depends on the halftime show, there's not much left to say. -

The NFL has a contract with RocNation (owned and operated by Jay Z) to manage the Super Bowl halftime show since 2019. He selects the performers, assists with the production and handles everything about the show. If people have a problem with the halftime show, yelling at the sky (NFL) is not who they need to speak with. -
