Can't even see the Canes when they're on the road. ESPN+ didn't carry the LA or Anaheim games.

Canes heavily favored tonight. But Blackwood's debut in net for the Sharks was a 51-save shootout loss. Don't go to sleep on San Jose and come out fast and hard.

I know it's hindsight and would be second-guessed or questioned either way, but I thought pulling Raanta was a mistake. Canes were buzzing, but turned over a lot of pucks around their blue line, gave up a lot of odd-man rushes and I knew it would be easy to pot an empty netter.

Did I say he was a bad football player? No? Didn't think so. He was a KC cast-off when he became a locker room iissue and they let him walk.

Hill is a cast-off, Tua is 1 head shot away from being done and is a typical Alabama average QB. Mostert was an undrafted FA and Waddle might live up to his draft slot some day. They're all performing well beyond expectations. Good for them.

Did I miss last night's game thread? Anyway, if it wasn't for the early 1st period outburst, the Canes would have been crushed last night. Faceoffs: bad. PP: looks familiar (lame AF) Officiating: the refs come out as bad as ever again.

If any of you have a situation when you can't make a game, I will gladly entertain the idea of buying them. I have some friends I'd like to get into the Canes. Please keep me in mind rather than selling them to some fugging Ranger fan from Cary.

I get a little apprehensive every year when they have to start the season with a monstrous road trip because of the damn fair. But, they're used to it now, so I shouldn't get so worked up over it. I'm setting the line at 53. -

Those 2 goals back-to-back in the 3rd period were as bad as I've seen from the Canes in a couple years. Orlov and Chatty getting too deep with no support. And it almost happened to TDA as well. Gotta clean up that back end. Otherwise a fairly solid performance after needing most of the 1st period just to get their skates going. Forecheck forever!
