Yeah when Rivera benched Cam for not wearing a silly tie on a travel day I’m sure the rest of the team was like good call coach, Cam had it coming. Lmao Rivera was trash with his stoic to the end poo. Maybe that’s why even though he is highly likely to die if he gets the rona his players still won’t get vaccinated for him, it’s because they love him so much.

Didn’t Anderson throw a pick that first series?! I remember thinking we so much deserve this.

The Carowinds site is a short 14 minute drive from Panthers Stadium and getting in/out would be easier for just about everyone...and it also plays well to the 2-states/1-team theme in that the site straddles the NC/SC border.

Most of the infrastructure at Carowinds is old and tired and has been significantly if not fully depreciated...and the site would certainly be less expensive than the Charlotte Pipe & Foundry land (on a per acre basis anyway).

Personally I like have the stadium in town as well but clearly Tepper is hankering for a new one and it would seem he is going to consider all options in the process.

NOTE: This isn't my idea per se, a while back some other poster on this site suggested and I just happen to think his suggestion is a good one...would credit him if I could remember who said it!

14 mins? As someone who lived in freemorewest and worked off of Westinghouse rd, I can tell you that by the time you make it back downtown you will either be sober or just pissed off because of traffic. And I’m not even talking about game day. You might as well be on another planet if the stadium is near the border.

  3. We have a new GM that just said we’ll be a part of every deal, so this isn’t the least bit surprising. He’d make a decent backup, so why not hear out offers.

I like that we’re going to be more involved throughout the league. It means we’re starting conversations and making new connections.

Great football players want to compete against the best. If he wants out of the AFC because he doesn't want to compete against the best, we don't want him.

Well I’m sure he’s a competitor, but he also has to have a little common sense. I mean, he’s trying to leave his team for God’s sake.

I think about the only thing we can definitively say is he won't go to a team within the same division.

I'd agree they would ideally want him in the NFC, but if an AFC team makes a better offer than an NFC one, I don't know that the Texans would care enough about it to take less.

Why would he want to compete with Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, and Mayfield in the playoffs every year? It might be smart for him to want to hop over to the NFC.

It's a damn good thing they have Andy Reid and Eric Bieniemy instead of Ron Rivera and Mike Shula. The OL is gonna be a liability but they know it and they'll try to game plan around it instead of changing literally nothing and hoping for the best.

Rivera had that “we’re gonna do what we do and hope it’s better than the other team” mindset. We know how that worked out.

Yeah, we discussed it a week ago.

Considering how the nation hoarded toilet paper and everclear early on, N95s would have been impossible to find for a while.

However, I will never agree with giving false information to the masses. This is where the distrust started and and we’re still dealing with people who think they won’t make a difference because of it.

You weren’t that dude wearing panther gear at the liquor store in Draper a few weeks ago? Was shocked to see it almost said go Panthers.

Utah seems...we were doing really well when this first hit but poo is hitting the fan, today was the first day in months I spent time outside the house getting poo done, take my advice stay in. I work from home too and other than food I don’t think I’ll be going out for a while, it honestly made me nervous.

Nah, the only liquor store I’ve been to is in Sugar House. I’m glad to hear that you are taking it seriously, as are we. However, if you drive around Liberty Park (doesn’t matter what day or time), you’d think things are pretty normal. I get the need for outdoor activities, it’s why we take the dogs hiking any chance we get.

Since we recently moved from Charlotte, I still keep up with what’s going on there locally. Makes it easy to compare the two cities, though the know they’re very different.

Here is Utah the virus is exploding. 1k cases in two days, healthcare officials making the national headlines begging Utah to go back to more restrictions

went shopping All around the city today today, if I’m being generous 25% of people wear masks, and it was very very busy

including employees of big chain stores, mom and pop, and businesses all over dealing with mass crowds

what the the holy hell is wrong with people

it’s come time to accept the virus is never going away or will be under control. People don’t want government invading their liberties yet they’re too fuging stupid to responsibility do it themselves lol starting to really lose faith I mean at what point do I need to refuse to interact with anyone not wearing a mask as if that’s even possible

I’m in Salt Lake City and the mask wearing near where I’m at is hit or miss. I’m lucky that I work from home, so I really don’t get out much other than to walk the dogs. We’re seeing in increase for sure, but it’s not like what’s happening in Charlotte.....yet.

Next 2-3 weeks will tell the story really on how the rest of the year plays out IMO.

Just curious what you mean by this. Because of the protests, summer gatherings, states opening up, or all the above?
