  1. How good is he?? Just taking notes here. Lewis would be 27 at the start of next season, Hunt would be 28. This tells me that Canales and Morgan watched the tape and immediately thought the Oline was problem #1 that had to be solved
  2. That's pretty balanced at least I'm assuming this means we got a Center in free agency or shuffled the left side of the o line
  3. Wow All that money to a fuging guard? What the fuuuckkk
  4. Powers Johnson or Graham Barton. Both of them are good enough to be gone before we pick though. I'm not sure there's a ton of other options that are worth 33 overall without reaching. I'd look for a trade down if neither drop to us Trading Burns would help a lot in rebuilding the o line. Maybe R2 and R3
  5. How does this guy keep surviving multiple regime changes?? Hes gotta have some dirt on Tepper lol
  6. I'd straight up draft his replacement if Bryce leads us to another last place finish.
  7. Outright cutting him is baffling at least keep him for depth?? Now we potentially need 3 new interior offensive linemen. I don't trust Corbet and Christensen to stay healthy.
  8. Well I think C and OG just skyrocketed in needs with that Bozeman release. Wow.
  9. Oh poo!! Yea fug WR. Center just became our #1 need. To go along with 2 more OGs. I think they're trying to rebuild the o line to match Canales scheme.
  10. Another Sunday, another mock draft. I see a lot of you going WR early so I tried something different. I'm a little sick of constantly striking out on WRs we draft in R2.
  11. If you're picking him up in R4 or R5 I don't see why not. Especially if we're going to go defense or OL in 2nd and or 3rd.
  12. Getting multiple impact players in free agency with minimal cap space and not much draft capital??? They're going to have to do a ton of maneuvering with cuts and restructures to make that possible. The crazy thing is last year I bet Fitterer thought he was doing really good by signing Theilen, Hurst, Sanders, DJ. Chark. On paper it must've sounded good but all it really did is muck up our Cap and make the team worse overall. I'm hoping we don't have a repeat if this garbage and aren't just signing a bunch of mediocre to bad players to long term contracts . It's not realstic but I wish they'd just bite the God damn bullet this year. Constantly restructuring everyone's contracts and signing bad free agents keeps us from having a lot more cap space for subsequent seasons.
  13. I hate seeing panther fans on social media knee jerk to every trade or signing we don't make. I would've taken this move as a bad sign if Morgan did it. It's too similar to what fitterer was doing, consistently trading away draft picks for players that don't work out.
  14. This one is a more relastic one without trades
  15. This one had a trade down with the Patriots
  16. I'm convinced that Fiterrer could've randomly picked a mock draft from any panthers fan for the last 3 years and they would've been better than any of his drafts. I saw a bunch of mock drafts here from March/April 2023 with Sam LaPorta, Rashee Rice, Tank Dell. And we got TMJ and Chandler Zavala
  17. 2nd is too cheap even with a player imo.
  18. I'd love this. Makes sense for the Lions too. They've already got other good WRs and trading a very late 1st for a good pass rusher is a good deal.
  19. Is this news??? I'm not seeing anything groundbreaking in that link
  20. How would you grade the players we drafted individually and as a whole? 1 year is a short time but it's also a good enough sample size to have some concrete thoughts. Also you can compare it to your thoughts right after the draft vs right after the season ended. You can also talk about if you expect them to improve or not. R1: Bryce Young > He showed some flashes in 2 game winning drives against Atlanta and Houston, had one complete "good" game vs the Packers. Otherwise, Bryce had an extemely underwhelming rookie campaign considering the capital we gave up to get him. I witnessed a ton of errant balls, 4 pick sixes, questionable deep ball accuracy in particular, and my main gripe holding on to the ball way too long given how crappy the o line was. He was unexpectedly good at running the ball while scrambling and managed to stay healthy when that may have been the key concern from his most major detractors. I was tempted to give an F but I saw at least some signs of life on a few throws this year and one good game. It's quite possible Canales may turn him around significantly but that's pure speculation right now. Grade: D R2: Jonathan Mingo Definitely not great, especially when we were seeing players many of us wanted in mocks like Tank Dell Josh Downs and Rashee Rice have very impressive rookie years in comparison. Not great at separating, route running, and had the dropsies at times. He onmy caught half of his targets for 418 receiving yards with 0 TDs. I'm really hoping he doesn't just turn into yet another WR bust like the Panthers are accustomed to drafting in R2. Grade: D R3: DJ Johnson Some of you may have to help me with this one. I didn't notice him that much this season. Did he make any sort of significant impact on defense? If he did I wasn't particularly aware of it in games. A lot of people were not a fan of this pick when it was made it seemed like a bizzare choice and I know he didn't make much of an impact sack/pressure rate wise, especially given how badly we seemed to need it crucial times in games. Grade: F R4: Chandler Zavala Far and away the worst player from this class. Even among all the turmoil and rotating players we had on the interior offensive line in the 2023 season, he was the worst one. Absolutely got worked by anyone and everyone who lined up across from him, calling him a turnstile would be too kind. Maybe it was a red flag when he texted the staff to draft him. As bad as Ikem Ekwonu regressed this year, Zavala was much worse. Grade: F R5: Jammie Robinson Another pick I may not be super qualified to rank considering I didn't notice him much if he was playing. But that in of itself could be an indictment on how little of an impact he had on the team. You don't really expect 5th rounders to be crucial players on your team but I'm not sure he contributed much of anything. Grade: F Overall I'd have to give this draft an F grade. Until proven otherwise. I'm hopeful Canales and Morgan can turn this ship around but truthfully speaking I'm salty about the state of this franchise. I'll believe in change when I see it.
  21. Crazy scapegoat My man got them all the way to the super bowl in his first year on the team and the defense kept them in the game all the way to overtime!!! My guess is Kyle Shannahan is feeling some kinda pressure from higher ups and made him as scapegoat. Total horse poo in my honest opinion!!!
  22. longest TD in super bowl history M.Muhammad, 03-04 panthers vs patriots. Which we of course, lost. also, that New England team was also the last team to win back to back super bowls before the Cheifs just did it now. IIRC, they went on to beat the Eagles the next season.
  23. This entire off season will be a non stop KC jerk fest.
  24. I would be absolutely sick to my stomach if it was the Panthers losing like that. Wow. I don't hate the Cheifs or anything, I just wanted to see someone else win lol. Don't we play them next year? yeesh The crazy thing is I don't know if ANYONE knew who Patrick Mahomes was before he was drafted outside of Texas Tech fans. One day I would really like to hear/see the in depth story of how Mahomes was scouted on and ultimately picked by the Cheifs.
