Maybe he was just mad that they kept Jones over Barkley (who just took it 70 yards for the Eagles).
-
I am still not sure he is the guy. But 263 yards and more importantly, 27 points, against one of the best defenses in the NFL with relatively little support from the run game and a mostly young raw receiving corps is better than just ok. While overall I thought Canales did a good job today, I do think we should have run the ball a little more in the red zone. Six first qtr plays in the red zone, 1 run, 5 passes. I know KC has an excellent run defense, but still got to balance it out a little better. In the second half, when in the red zone, they had 4 passes and five runs, and scored td's two of the three red zone trips.

Wouldn't be so sure. The best qb in the NFL was drafted tenth. Lamar Jackson and Jordan Love were both late first round picks. Not saying we should draft a qb. If Bryce plays fairly well, we should probably fill some other positions we desperately need filled.

I don't see Clemson getting in unless they win the ACC.

My general care dr once worked for a NFL team. He stated that he was pressured to clear players to play quite a bit by the team he played for. One of the reasons he left the NFL. I don't blame players who want to get their own physician in some cases.

I disagree, but it could be my military background. Anyone who trashed the chain of command publicly got called out no matter the age.

Bryce Young - Good and Bad, what say you?

Its not just that he had a good game today. In the past two games, he has done mostly what the coaching staff asked him to do. Its clear they were bringing him along slowly, not asking him to do to much. Today they ask him to do a little more, and he responded. -
I am sure the Cowboys, Commanders, and Eagles fans would agree with you. Not sure anyone else would.
-
Just saying it would be understandable. Dabol is definitely getting canned though at the end of the season assuming he last that long. Its amazing how fast things can change. We are no longer at the bottom of the NFL pile now. Giants, Jags, Raiders, or Titans occupy the bottom spots.
-
Well, it would depend on why he did it. For example, if Daniel Jones publicly called him out, called him a horrible coach, then maybe. But if he did it just for spite, then Daboll should never be a head coach ever again.

We scored 27 points against one of the best defenses in the NFL, and a few people are still whining about the offense. Nitpicking at its finest. I don't give a crap about whether we run or pass the ball to get td's. Last time I checked, both methods give you 6 points. In truth, I thought we should have run the ball a little more earlier in the game in the red zone, but in the end, 27 points against a good defense is not bad. In fact, that is the second most points against KC this season, only Buffalo scored more. And they all came off of long drives, no short drives after a turnover. Still need to do a lot of work on the defensive side, but the positive is they sacked Mahomes five times and and held them to 10 points in the second half. Couldn't stop them with the game on the line, but then again, most teams don't stop Mahomes with the game on the line. -

He had the best game of his NFL career today. And fwiw, he has actually played fairly well since the Denver game. In truth, I thought he was done, and still not sure he is the future, but I feel a little better than I did a few weeks ago. There is a part of me wants to throw out his rookie season, and just proceed as if this is his rookie season. -
Stupid play by Bryce, nice play by iky

If the penalty calls are accurate, then it's not bailing them out

Longest fg drive of the year. Great sack by Clowney

Bryce just had the best qtr of football he has played as a panther. Let's just end the game now and move on to the next game. And call it a win for Bryce. Lol

Not a chance the SEC could compete with the NFL. In the large cities that are not in the Southeast, (LA, NYC, Chicago, SF) College football is an afterthought.
-
Ironic that the SEC championship game could be two Texas teams, while Alabama will end up losing to a decent Vanderbilt team and a not so decent Oklahoma team. Can't help but wonder if fans at these schools are eventually going to regret these mega conferences.
-
If I were drafting him, I wouldn't care so much about that. Patience is easier to teach than other aspects of being an NFL qb. My concern is how well he performs under pressure, can he get the ball out quickly and accurately in 3 seconds or less. That is the the most important and hardest thing to teach it seems irt an NFL qb.
-
Unless he goes 5 for 50 with some big runs against KC's prevent defense. I don't expect much from him or from the team this weekend. KC is going to super motivated, and we still aren't very good. Irt Brooks, I just want to see some sparks before the season is done.

One of the top defenses in the NFL, so 20 yards on 6 carries, with a couple of receptions perhaps. Anything more than that would be gravy.

If you wanted Danny Dimes here’s the chance

When you cut the qb of the worst offense in the NFL, its not tanking. Its just accepting reality. -
Other games 11/17, got some good ones today

Pittsburgh wasted a timeout, they might regret it. -
What franchises are in worse shape than the Panthers
Davidson Deac II replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah. But I was responding to the comment about them being insanely talented. More talent than us, yeah. But also overrated in the talent department. They have more issues than just qb. Their defense is not good. Their run d is giving up more ypc than we are. On pass defense, they get sacks but if they don't get to the QB, they give up big plays. They also don't run the ball well. they have several big names, but across the board, talent is lacking. -

I didn't say us, just said other teams.
