Not sure if that is a fumble, but if it was, I think it was a TD for Seattle.

No, Detroit's defense is playing out of their mind.
I think both are true. Baker missed a few open receivers by throwing it about five feet over their head.

Kneel down time.
Defensive dominance by Detroit against an offense that was scoring at a high clip, although losing Evans early hurt a lot.
Also, we are a game out of first. I doubt it will last, but we haven't been able to say that in a long time.

Detroit's uniforms must be causing Baker to flashback to his time in Carolina. His accuracy or lack thereof is bad tonight.
Detroit did bail him out there though.

The most common thing has been they have all been really bad. Maybe that is the most concerning.
Unless we make some idiotic trade, we aren't getting anyone good.

I know it's not in fashion as much these days, but man would I love to confuse some defenses with dual-HB sets!
I would like to see what Chuba and Rico could do if we had a fullback leading the way. Bring back the I formation.

A good QB and we would be way past mediocre. Imagine Cam with this offensive line and all the weapons Bryce has
Remember in Cam's third year when we started out 1-3, and Cam was coming off a horrible game when we lost to Arizona 22-6 and for the season, he had as many turnovers as as passing TD's and many fans were already looking at the next draft for a qb?

This is what happens when passes thrown in his direction are actually on target. Everyone is ignoring that Bryce was throwing ducks to him all season. They're finally starting to rediscover their chemistry.
Almost none of Daltons passes were on target.

I‘m sure there were factors making it look worse, but that was 100% XL on that catch. It’s good to see him have a good game.
No doubt.
I was at the game watching it and it looked like a fly ball to the infield. It got in the air and just hung up. XL tracked it like a shortstop.

That last throw?? It was an air ball Dalton floated up for a 30 yard pass that XL had to literally stop his wide open route and jump and catch while the CB caught up with him. Dalton isn’t the QB people think he is at this point in his career. Remember last year when he had to play several games for us? It wasn’t good…
In fairness, it was into a wind that was gusting 15-20 mph. I didn't like the call or the throw, but it worked.

Yup, the Bills offense is a tad better than the Jets....just a smidge. Dalton will be the scapegoat for having our winning streak snapped.
Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami also have better offenses than the Jets.
-
At this point, stopping Atlantas offense is basically syopping Bijan and forcing Penix to beat you.

Because we looked like dog poo against probably the worst team in the league and kept giving them chances to tie.
So did Denver, Tampa, and Pittsburgh.
This is the NFL, not college where you have to impress pollsters. All you have to do is win and move on.
That being said, no one here thinks we are SB contender's. But its nice to be on the upside for a change.

The jury is out on Howell.
Lol, howell has bounced around the league, unable to stick anywhere. If the jury is made up of NFL coaches and GMs, then the jury is in on him and he is guilty.

Our QBs are ass. Your point?
Howell is worse than Bryce.

In reality, we have been a better team since the Saints game last year. Still not a great team, but a decent team.
All i want to see this year is improvement. If we win a few more games this year than last and then improve again the year after, we might be good enough to be a serious contender.

Chuba trying too hard to prove he can do what Rico been doing. He just needs to play his game.
He is an inside power rusher, and with Hunt out and the Jets Dline playing well, it just wasn't there. He did look a llittle hesitant though.

Matt Corral is available.
After today, Justin Fields might be.

I went to the game today. The defense was fantastic. JC's Ints were great. DB was dominant.
Not sure if they mentioned it on TV, but by the 4th qtr, the wind was gusting 15-20 mph. It was having a noticeable impact on the passing game. I am amazed Daltons moonshot to XL worked.

You guys are amusing. We are trading for a QBat this point.
Meant we are NOT trading for a QB at this point

The only call that annoyed me was when we passed in third and 1, early in the game, knowing we were going to go for it on 4th. Run it twice there and we probably make it.

Other NFL Games Week 7
in Carolina Panthers

CJ's passes tonight have not been very accurate even when he has time. And he lucked out on what would have been a very bad turnover on his part.
