My god, an entire season of historically awful football is fogotten like grains of sand on the wind by the same crowd anointing the new hope on one preseason drive against the Bills 2nd/3rd string defenders, which also required a 4th conversion.

I think the curse of the black cat isn't given enough credit.  I've never been much for superstition but I've come to accept it's a blind spot and the Panthers are just cursed.

This feels like a good place to post my lastest 3d print project.

I call it the Panthers “Keep spinning your wheels” fidget spinner.  I can joyfully spin my toy while watching the Panthers spin out again.

Probably started with a full playbook until it became clear we couldn’t execute it.

Then we shifted to west coast style with RPO fishing for consistency.

Then Reich is fired and we get whatever Tabor thought would give him a shot to keep the job.

He practiced against the Jets one day, and only practiced three times all week.  That’s a far cry from your statement.

We really are missing the forest for the trees.  The real story here is our backups look be in mid season starter form.  We’d have killed for three points in our last two regular season games.

Word, I hadn't seen anything indicating the close of camp at all.  Just that the practice schedule wasn't public beyond yesterday.  Generally there's some "that's a wrap" close of camp article.  Doesn't change my point much whether it's the last week of camp or the middle, it was a thin week for the starters.

No and if we make two assumptions...

#1 There also won't be practice Sunday.  Don't know this for sure since the practice schedule after the Jets games isn't released, but it seems like a reasonable assumption.

#2 Starters will get zero or minimum work in the game tomorrow.

That translates to the starters only getting three days of work this week - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.  That seems crazy minimal for the middle of camp.  One of those practices was also cut short and ended in gassers.

I'm not immune to hope but the Panther's have conditioned me to be skeptical.  It felt a little fresh today hearing some positive reports from the joint practice.  Let's mash them in the mouth Saturday when game conditions are simulated.

Bryce is going to shut a lot of people up one way or another.
