That's fair and where I am right now too. Losing for draft picks and to justify releasing players is not ok.

I mean we all want Bryce to be the guy.  But it's so obvious he just simply is not that.  Nothing he has shown tells you not to continue to pursue competition at QB or just move on altogether.

We weren't really playing good football then either. We got embarrassed on Monday night football and lost jaycee to a concussion and moehrig to a nut punch before that game

I'm just saying if we were playing good football record be damned I might give us a punchers chance.  I just do not think Saturday is going to go well for us.  We got our lick on the Rams already I think they are going to get it back this weekend.  Would love to be wrong but I don't think I am.  I also think the NFL will try their hardest to get another LA-Seattle matchup the following week.  Everything is against the Panthers going it would be one of the major upsets in NFL playoff history I could think of over the last decade.

  3. I think this game ends up being an ass kicking.  We had to play a perfect game last time against them forcing 3 turnovers on defense and picking up two long 4th down TD passes and we still barely won.  We aren't even playing good football right now.  I just cannot envision us winning this game they have too much offense and their defense is good enough to stop our offense.

See the "participation trophy" thing is not on point. As always, literally, it's all about math. Each team begins the season with the same opportunity and if it comes down to a tiebreaker, that means one team did enough while the other one(s) did not. Win one more game throughout a 17 game season, and you don't have to rely on tiebreakers.

I get what you are saying is technically correct but winning a division with a losing record off a loss on a tiebreaker just feels dirty.  The NFC South does not even deserve a team in the playoffs this year.  I wish they would just take the best teams regardless of divisions but it is what it is.

We have speed in the room. We need skill in the room. All our "fast" guys are super low on skill.

Skill beats speed 95% of the time.

We need juice I get you want someone with skills but if you don't have someone who can separate the skills get diminished a little.  There is nobody on this offense that actually scares an opposing team not even Tet.  Tet is very skilled but the lack of breakaway speed makes it easier to defend him.  Tet and Coker make some great catches at times but how often do you see them make a great catch in space they created.  They are usually always blanketed.

There are “win it that way” or “lose it that way” scenarios in many games throughout the season. I’ll take it if we would get into the postseason by this unlikely scenario.

nah man I ain't here for a participation trophy.  If we were a good team who has underachieved all year I might could accept it but we are a bad team who has honestly just had some serious luck this year.  If we can't win it outright I don't want it.  Call me a bad fan I don't care.

  7. I hated the pick when we made it.  He just isn't a starting NFL WR.  Physically he's what you would draw up but he just lacks the basic fundamentals at the position.  I don't think he has any real trade value I suspect he will still be here next year.  The only WR's that are locks to me though are Tet and Coker.  I do think we need to inject some more speed into our WR room.  Or at least someone twitchy who is an excellent route runner.

  8. This team put so much stock in Young they basically had no choice but to continue to stick with him through this season.  I think the way this season has gone it has basically confirmed he just isn't the guy.  Trade him cut him I don't care just give him and us a fresh start.  He should not be on this roster to start next year but likely will.  If they pick up the 5th year I will honestly be speechless and absolutely done with Morgan and Canales.  This is assuming Tepper truly will sit back and let those two make the decision on him.

I disagree on half of your assessment. If Bryce cant throw down field and their game plan was to stop the run and be aggressive with the short intermediate throws that’s on Bryce. What’s left for Canales to do? Per the press conference the calls are being made. Bryce is either scared to throw them or he isn’t capable of making the throws. For a 3rd year QB neither is good.

I agree.  I'm not sure what exactly Canales was supposed to do Sunday.  At some point players have to make plays regardless of calls.

  10. It is absolute malpractice at this point what Canales is doing with the running backs.  I don't care if you just paid Chuba or that he is a team Captain it is so painfully obvious to anyone watching who brings more juice to the offense.  Rico is more explosive, he is finding the running lanes better, and he actually can break a tackle.  The game plan yesterday should have been to give Rico the ball 25-30 times and yet Canales could not do it.  He failed his entire team yesterday.  Canales has an absolute poo roster but he does nothing to help them.

What happened to him from end of last season? Where was that Bryce Young?

Pressure and expectations were essentially gone when he came back into the lineup because of how bad he sucked prior to his benching.

they are back now cause it’s a fresh season and welp…
