5 hole Freddy
Like I said, we are not winning anything with our current goalies
Freddie has a 2.07 GAA and a .918 save % this year, just an FYI those are equal numbers to Halybeck who is going to win the veniza....

Just play Freddie unless we're playing against a Russian goalie
Freddie is much more consistent, plays with excellent positioning.

I mean i like it ONLY if Rod doesn't have him as a healthy extra or a seventh d not getting any minutes, it isn't worth burning an ELC year if he's not playing big minutes

I don't think you understand what all these numbers mean, my guy.
This far more tells the story of Morrow-Walker being awful defensively. Morrow needs to not be paired with Walker ever again. Lol. As well as Rosie and the gang being our absolute worst like while being on the ice 2nd most as a line.
Expected goals are just goals scored over average. Koochie wasn't locked in and I am not arguing he was, but this game ABSOLUTELY is not on Koochie alone or even in large part. I think if there wasn't such a defensive drop-off at key moments, this is a 4-2 game at worst.
Need to get healthy. That is our biggest issue at the moment.
No it appears to be you that have a misunderstanding, it's nothing to do with "above average"
Kochetkov was awful. It wasn't one parrying at fault he allowed goals with every possible pairing.... he WAS WOEFULLY BAD
Morrow-Walker weren't great but the X goals agaist is part of the X goals allowed by Kochetkov but the actual.

Jackson Blake has the skills to be a 20 or 30 goal scorer. He's had so many close calls, I feel like 20 wouldn't be much of a stretch for him next year. It feels like he just needs to polish his game and settle in a bit and he could take off.
Hes a rookie tbh probably a 20 goal guy next season.

True. I do like him as a player and I do feel like ILB is our most overlooked need right now. Everyone points to EDGE and WR, but I do not feel comfortable at all going into the season with Josey Jewell and Trevin Wallace as our starters and the guy we signed from the Rams as our only real depth.
Not a chance Roseboom is the depth buddy. He's definitely starting

Nikishin will be allowed to leave early and join the Hurricanes for the playoffs.
Not good news IMO would rather two years of ELC.
Because you know Rod is gonna trot Burns and Orlov out there come playoffs even though Nikishin/Morrow will be more dynamic and the future

I don't find it surprising at all tbh, the canes always have a slump at some point during the regular season just like they always have a mega winning streak or two, the regular season means nothing to me at this point.

I mean he's in great fuging company stat wise. He gave up a healthy chunk of his goals in a bad stretch of the season for us as a team as well. He's played great
When he is consistent I may drink the cool aid again but not now

Canes vs ducks 8pm

As a hurricane in the playoffs hes .928 2.12 GAA...
But let's pretend that one breakaway and two power play goals in one period are his entire career.
The OVERWHELMING majority of playoff games freddie has started for us that we lost were because we couldn't score, seriously look how many were 1-0 or 2-1
