Who has Frank Reich or JimCaldwell ever developed. They always had vets.
Caldwell had Luck right? And Luck retired why? Because he kept getting annihilated by bad OL play. Sound familiar?

Lattanzio gone. Who do we want to replace him?
-
Feels like a lot of change is coming this off-season. Swidz probably gone. Lattanzio should be gone. His tactics just don’t cut it in MLS. Zoran should feel uncomfortable as well

Welp…that’s it. Maybe next year. Feels like a lot will change this off-season

This is funny and sad at the same time

He threw his first interception yesterday. That’s not the first time he was sacked. He’s been sacked 13 times.
Welp, guess that’s what I get for listening to Mac and Bone on WFNZ lol. They were saying first sack

Yesterday wasn’t on the WR, even on the completed passes Bryce was getting hit. He had no time to go trough his progressions, on that Chark deep pass he couldn’t step into the throw cause there was a guy right there
I was mind blown when I heard that Stroud was sacked for the first time yesterday. That makes a WORLD of difference in how you can perform as a Rookie. Wish for once we could have the kind of depth on OL to keep rolling after injuries

Phins also out 2 starters today on the OL. Including the LT who Burns saw
As an App State alum, seeing Burns get held from having a sack by a former UDFA from App State just makes me smile. MFer wants $30M but is easily game planned against, like today

I did think it was weird seeing Bryce coming to the line seemingly changing the play a lot. Seemed like Defenses fooled him on looks they showed.
This actually makes some sense. I’ve wondered with this noise of “simplifying” if Bryce hasn’t been fooled by the looks he’s gotten and checked into bad plays

So many things are safer in this world than a 2-0 CLTFC lead. Also looks like the turf monster has struck again with Bender

I’ll wait until I’m home before I Google that poo, but all feels right now that we’ve been blessed with a SCP post

Agyemang needs a start when MLS play starts back. Just play a 442 and be done with it. We looked far more dangerous at least with Agy on with 2 strikers

We definitely need to utilize a 2 striker system to maximize Karol’s ability. But that would mean Latty can’t deploy his dumb inverted fullbacks that leave our already depleted center backs vulnerable

LMAO, we’re headed to the final 8 of the Leagues Cup after some Agyemang magic and a banger of an own goal by Houston.
Up next is Inter Messi… I mean Miami.
Who’s ready to get cooked by Messi?!?!
At this rate I’m almost expecting a win in some wild ass way because that’s how the tournament has gone for us so far. But that’s also how it’s gone for them

I sort of think the real answer to "why did USA lose" is that for ages we were THE team not because we were better, but because we were more liberated in our country. Other countries laughed at their girls saying they wanted to play a man's game for real. Now, it's 2023. Only a handful of countries are left that still force females into roles. That allows girls to now play at a high level a game their father, grandpa, and great grandpa have been living their life for and a game they too have been playing (just not for keeps). The rest of the world has always been on par with USA ... we just didn't know it. They live soccer in their countires. We live for NBA and NFL and our teenss live for social media likes.
This. Rest of the world finally caught up but your average USWNT fan wouldn’t know since they see them as gods. Meanwhile, our women’s team has been rolling out aging players based on history rather than let younger talent develop and take on more roles. It’s basically a repeat of the USMNT in 2018, just on a higher stage since the downfall came in the World Cup

Was at the game. I wanted to punch number 9 in the face for that bullshit flop. Definitely some straight up assholes on that team. We stopped attacking in the second half. It should have been worse.
We’re lucky if we came out of that game with no injuries. There was another time a dude made a legit attempt at forceably stepping on Swidz ankle when he got tackled by someone else, but he missed. Could’ve legit broken his ankle

Finally a win. Lucky those 2 goals were called back, but damn Necaxa played like a bunch of dirty mother fugers. Swidz is making Copetti seem surplus at the 9
thought it was interesting when Eric mentioned another MLS coach called Lattanzio’s tactics a “rubix cube”. That definitely speaks to the “needs to simplify” thing on Reddit

there is a reddit thread saying that the front office is sitting CL down today and forcing him to simplify tactics or else
Just read that. Seems plausible and it 100% should be done

Our back line is also atrocious. I’ve never seen a team play overlapping runs as poorly as we do.
Seems easy to do when your fullbacks are asked to pinch in as an extra MF and they’re all slow AF.

Hated that offsides call on Arfield’s goal. Was such a good one. I tried to watch the second half but gave up b/c I was exhausted from fishing all day plus it just felt like inevitable loss. Glad they pulled it out

Lattanzio out. We look lifeless and the resistance to changing formation/tactics is just mind blowing. 433 hasn’t worked really at all this season. Hell try a 442 or 3412/3421. Something. Anything different, but I think having another striker up top with Swidz is the way to go.

It’s the NWSL. I don’t even know where to watch those games. NWSL is just a prop league for the USWNT anyway so those players don’t have to actually push themselves to get better by going to Europe. I’m literally think they keep Horan on the squad b/c they absolutely have to since she’s their best player, but doesn’t play in NWSL
Return of the bubble screens?
