I don’t think we know enough to say that yet.

i saw what i needed to in that one half against the steelers. i saw how he responds to the initial pressure and i saw him settle down and get into a groove fairly quickly. weapons around him and a scheme that helps him will help him settle down against a tougher D than we saw from the steelers.

he was alone on an island last year (that's who he was). he's not anymore...he's surrounded by talent and good coaching and doesn't have to do it all now (that's who he is).

Watching how quick Tom Brady gets the ball out of his hands in the Tampa/Dallas game last night shows me the blueprint for how Darnold could have a successful future in the NFL. It's probably the only way he has a future.

If Joe Brady can dial up the easy completion plays for Darnold and the defense can shut down a rookie QB it should be an easy win. I'll be concerned if they're calling 7 step drops with that O-Line. I won't rule it out because this is the Panthers we're talking about after all.

Brees used to kill us the same way.

Cam got killed because Rivera's OCs could never figure out how to run an offense that got the ball out quick.

Joe Brady >> all the other OCs

Yea the Jets defense knows it'll only take a few pressures and sacks to get Darnold rattled.

they are hoping that he is still the same guy.

    he's not.

he might be kind of skittish the first drive, but he'll settle in. he needs to trust his playmakers and get the ball out quick. i think he's been working on that and these guys are going to give him plenty of reason to trust them.

And one more thing @rayzor why exacting am I getting ban Sunday evening???

Is that if Darnold wins I get ban, so if he loses, u banning urself, for accepting mediocrity after we were told by Tepper he wouldn't be, so as fans why should we. What fan wouldn't want a backup capable of competing with their starting QB, I'm sure the Eagles enjoy their Superbowl...but Is it because I refuse to accept your Darnold's going change view.

I bad mouth him just as much as someone would have Cam, or Teddy for that matter when they was here.

Oh, because what I say has truth in it, so it hurts a lil more, gotcha

I back up every claim with a source...fact..Darnold played a bunch of 3rd stringers...fact..number 44 is a FB number for the Steelers current Depth Chart...fact...number 44 can be seen on Darnold's 3-16 fumble play...fact...number 44 was being worn by 3rd string LB...facts*He lined up where Barrett would be...and if 3rd stringers can do that, what in the hell is Veta going do...*

See as a fan, I'm tired of rooting for a guy just cause he wears the uniform or has a C on his chest, example Whitehead, it took some to see he sucked, but we were warned by Raiders fans, but nope same folks who didn't listen then don't listen now...

But you too scared to put up or shut up and go all in with Darnold yourself...bet you won't ban yourself if he loses...

    Lost interest after "And one".

Counting down the hours. I'm willing to deal with all the complaints for you getting the boot. (All zero of them)

Will it matter? Reminds me of that story about the two guys walking along the shore where hundreds of starfish are strewn on the beach and one keeps picking them up and throwing them back in. The other says it won't make a difference because there are still so many on the shore. the guy saving the starfish says,"it matters for this one".

Point is there are quite a few bad posters that are in here, so why just you? Why just one?

My answer...because I've got an itch and I want to scratch it.

    Suck it up, turd.

T-minus 3 days until the Darnold honeymoon ends and the hand-wringing over letting Teddy Franchise slip away begins.

If Darnold can show improvement,is a BIG IF still in my book, and I still think the comments

“I feel like, for me, every opportunity I’ve found a way to kind of take advantage of,” Darnold said, via David Newton of ESPN. “The Jets was kind of the first time in my life that I got something — and that was taken away from me

Still think he's a spoiled brat who didn't earned his spot but Howell...hey autocorrect o well on this site 😂

Both these turds will be flushed Sunday evening.

The Charlotte Observer is no longer news worthy, just a propaganda tool for the Democrat party, like most all nation wide newspapers. So sad.

  7. Well, their fans obviously know us pretty well...guys like our stud edge rusher Harris.

But I think they'll line Harris up against their rookie RT George Washtub.

I think they've got the potential for some decent runs with their scatback William Easterbunny. That WR, Joe Chowder, they picked up in FA could do some damage as well.

I am worried about their pass rush, though, led by Ortho Pedicson...that guy is a beast.

All in all I'm not really worried because their new HC, Ernie Salami. I mean he coached in Canada, right? How much could he know?

The biggest thing I think we've got going for us is their rookie QB, Zack Morris. Dude is overrated.
