Wouldn't be surprised. I think it will be Darrisaw if we do trade back in.

Shocking. Go back and read some of their posts before and after the 2011 draft.
Bye.

Stud defense just got studlier.
Yeah...I wish we had gotten Sewell and rolling with Darnold makes me nervous, but at least we didn't get mac.

We get "stuck" at 8 and get "stuck" with either horn or surtain. Not what I want, but I'm not going to cry over getting stuck with an elite cb or any other elite prospect we can get in the top half of the draft.

Chinn vs Pitts for the next 10 years will be fun
What I was going to say.
Pitts is a monster, but there's always a bigger one and we've got him.

Whoa.
Maybe mac to atl?

Why do I get the feeling that the jets aren't going to take a QB?

And no ...I'm not serious

He would also be valuable as a mentor to lawrence. Sharing with him all his valuable experience as a star college QB transitioning into a big time pro.

I think if you get Rodgers at this stage, you basically got to be like Foxy in Denver and just turn the O over to him largely.
Yep. Ideal fit is a coaching staff that has some talent but is in over their head. Washington would be another option

I wasn't crazy about the idea of stafford bc I don't see him as a long term solution, but he's a good guy and still has some skill. Rodgers still has some skill, but he could be a cancer as well.
I'd put him with the eagles because the coaching staff doesn't have a clue and won't mind a QB who takes control of the show.

Well considering he just won the NFL MVP award last year, I would say a good amount?
Fair enough.
2nd question...how coachable is he? I have a lot of concern about him in that regard. Seems like he's earned the reputation as a prima donna. He just seems like a prick.

How much gas does he still have in his tank?

Good idea. Above my pay grade, though.

turf isn’t helping teams win super bowls
Looks like you are trying to veer into another discussion with that first statement, but to your second...turf definitely isn't a detriment to teams getting in and winning superbowls. Grass is better for health and aesthetics, but it won't interfere with our chances to win.

Teddy was Mr. Anti-clutch. He had his chances (8) when the game was on the line. TB failed to deliver every time.
Whoever came up with the saying "Nice guys finish last." must have been thinking of Teddy when they said it.
Good descriptor. He was competent and relatively mistake free...but he was that because he didn't take any risks. He was a safe play because he played it safe.
In some cases people will tap the brakes to keep from getting too crazy. The biggest problem with Teddy... I don't think there was a crazy gear to avoid.

how did the panthers screw up their chance to get a qb
other teams out maneuvered them, they got outbid for Stafford, and Watson has some....issues
like other teams try to win too
Yep. We have legitimately done all we can to improve at QB and we aren't done. Either we draft another one or we improve the OL which helps QB.
It all depends on how things fall in the draft and we can't control that. That's been the story so far. We do the best with the choices we've got.

But what if they trade away all their picks and sign Bridgewater to a 500 year contract extension what do I do then
If that happens the board will have an epic implosion worse than the 2007 or whatever it was loss to atlanta. Bad posting won't be an issue cause there won't be a board to post to

You don't get a gold star for breaking news.... especially in the draft. All you get is banned. The only question is for how long.
I haven't been around much lately, but thanks to a shoulder surgery that has me sidelined from life for a while I will be.
That said, I am sore and grumpy and will probably still be. Just be warned.

I don't care who I am or who you are.... Elite OT helps more than anything in this draft.

As a Gamecock, Jaycee Horn is the best Corner the gamecocks have had since I can remember
in Carolina Panthers

Having an elite secondary on an elite defense does.
