I agree with your first two sentences.

Only way I would cheer for him though is if he became a Panther.  🙂

this "now" moment will likely pass in a few days when i and most people quit caring about this whole thing. still think it was an unfunny  immature jackass move and i have to say i'm not surprised by those who loved it and thought it was hilarious.

I'm guessing the league provided the contact information of all the prospects coming out this year. Once the teams have that list its probably available to all the top brass on the team. Each team has their own idea of who should have access to that information. I'm guessing the league will now set rules on who can have access to that information going forward.

can't believe that this wasn't already happening.

probably put all of it on some kind of signal chat.

  3. so last night my daughter who is playing softball had a parents vs daughter softball scrimmage. i grew up playing baseball and played softball for most of my college and adult life up until about a decade ago. i didn't really have any reason to stop, but i also wasn't in any situations to play. i figured, "why not?"

well, now i know "why not?". about 8 years ago i slipped at work and banged my head on the concrete floor. had a concussion that was pretty bad for a while, but that was a long time ago. the only lingering thing going on is that i have double vision, but i'm used to is. i've adjusted....or at least i thought i had.

i played catcher (one of the positions i used to play a lot) and i got up to bat. both ended up being terrifying. apparently when you've got double vision, it also affects your depth perception. i couldn't see the ball coming. well i saw it, but i didn't know where it was. i got hit once and i thought, "ok. i'm done."

i'm talking to my wife about it and she says, "well, you're probably never going to play softball again." that's a sad realization for some reason. well it was in the moment. then my thought was, "i really have to pee" and i was over it.

point of all that is, getting old is...... interesting.

    thanks for letting me share.

  4. nothing against him, but i hope he doesn't make the team unless he blows the doors off everyone.

i just don't like the idea of us being in such shape that we let a guy who took a year off last year get a roster spot. i'm sure he had good reasons, but i'm more interested in seeing the younger guys get a shot or David Moore since he proved himself last year with us.

Damn has it been that long since the first site name... Thanks Rayzor, I feel old as fug now. lol

this place had been cooking for a few years before i got in here and already had an....ummmm......interesting culture.

i remember it being called the panthers huddle before the team shut down that name and then the big crash after that ATL game in 2008 where Harry Douglas(?) went nuts.

My man. I’m with ya, as long as the huddle exists I think it’s the best option for panthers discussion and news. I’ve definitely become much less active since Tepper turned the team to poo and if I lived in NC and had panthers fan friends and acquaintances to talk panthers with maybe I wouldn’t be on much but for an out of towner it’s a great resource for discussing the team and despite some of the clowns here there are plenty of good dudes and discussion

i've been here over 20 years now. i'm not planning on going anywhere, but i think if zod sold it i might. depends on who he sold it to i guess.

  7. i'm really digging everyone that we drafted. just looking at that list and i see most of them being people who can or will get used pretty heavily in the next few years. i think Horn will probably have the hardest time getting serious play time of all of them.

yeah...we definitely got three starters in that bunch coming out of the gate (TMac, Scourton, and Ransom) and four more that will be in heavy rotation.

  8. i'm quite happy with this draft, especially after hitting all the stuff we did in the offseason leading up to the draft.

bringing in moering, bobby brown, and wharton was huge for us. so was dowdle. i think that set us up quite nicely for the draft.

i think tmac will be a really good target for bryce. same with mitchell. we've got a good WR room right now with a ton of potential. i REALLY like the TE room right now. RBs looks good now as well.

i think that defense is going to be a lot better next year as well.

we added a lot of beef to the DL and a lot of boom to safety...all of it geared towards shutting down the run game.

the last few weeks our pass rush was getting to the QB quite a bit and giving them a rough time. i think there was already a lot of momentum to build on there. it was just the run game that kept killing us. looks like we got that fixed.

Again, he led the NFL in big-time throws with what was objectively might have been the weakest WR group in the league, including going toe-to-toe with both SB teams.

Some of these posts aren't grounded in reality.

Delusion then was not thinking Bryces career here wasn't in jeopardy after Week 2 of last year.

Delusion now is currently thinking Bryce hasn't done anything to prove he belongs both in this league and as the face of this franchise heading into next season

pretty much this. for anyone with an open mind, it has to be perfectly clear that he proved himself worthy of the starting gig and we're going to be in good shape going forward. the benching was the wake up call/kick in the ass he needed.

I think they're committed to him but I think the coddling stopped with the benching.

I keep thinking this. Benching was the end of coddling. When he came back the little boy became a grown ass man.

Nothing but respect for what he did after coming back and nothing but excitement for what lies ahead.

Haters better get over it and doubters better start believing.
