  1. Heineke has hit a couple of tough throws today on Jackson.
  2. Donte has grown into his potential which has been great to watch. He's come up clutch and I can't really remember any plays this year watching him where I'm wondering what he was doing or why he gambled wrong. Huge improvement from last year to this year. Don't think we will be able to retain him at the price he will want as a number 1 corner unfortunately. Shaqs improvement was just as big but will be overshadowed because he's grown I to his contract. His coverage reminds me of TD. He doesn't have the energy TD had but I see a ton of similarities in their game.
  3. The eagles have a super easy schedule the remaining of the year. They still have WFT amd the NYG 2x, as well as the Jets amd Cowboys. I think they're definitely a contender to take a wildcard spot because od their remaining schedule and head to head advantage. The Vikings have a very difficult schedule including Green Bay 2, the Rams, Steelers and 49ers. The Saints have a pretty tough schedule as we, and I want to count them out due to their schedule, but there's still a strong chance the creep into a playoff spot. But at the end of the day there are so many people piled into that 3 to 5 win range its really just going to come down to whether we win or not.
  4. Reddick is a must sign. Pay whatever he costs, hopefully long term. He's young, likes Rhule and making game changing plays on defense. I think we choose between Jackson and Gilmore for corner. We still have Jaycee, Henderson, AJ and Keith Taylor as a core for corners next year. In thinking Jackson will want big money long term. He's earned it. Sign Gilmore to what is hopefully a slightly more team friendly deal for 2 more years and call it a day. Like others mentioned Daquan Jones has been great. Would love to see 1 more year added to his contract. Need a tight end signed in the off season. Ian Thomas isn't looking like the answer. Not even sure where to start on the oline past letting Paradis walk. Hopefully with Cam and PJ at QB the oline doesn't look as unsalvagesble as it did before and it's not as bad as we all thought. Need a few more games without Sam to make that determination, but another guard in the off season would be great if elflein continues to play well at center.
  5. Not a coincidence that the team came to life once Cam was back. The hype is real. They feed off his energy. The run game was better. We scored the most points of the entire season. We clicked on all cylinders. Cams energy is infectious. You could feel the hype even going into the game. No individual player can have such an impact on the field as he had by just being who we love him to be, himself. Give the ball to Cam.
  6. That's close enough to be bang bang any other game. Weak penalty again.
  7. Might as well just go ahead and go for the field goal so we don't lose yardage and points.
  8. Not good when the opposing defense immediately calls for help.
  9. Still haven't forgotten about his head hunting BS on Norman. Fug him, don't want him here.
  10. Defense has done incredibly well minus a few hiccups. Given the offense goes 3 and out every other drove and we aren't giving up 30 a he really says a lot. The secondary is a huge part of that. If we had a decent MLB and the secondary was healthy it would be fun to watch.
  11. DJ was the only receiver on the roster to have a catch for positive yards. That is not going to work on any team that's not the Falcons.
  12. It's tough to say how much of the blame is from the drops, Brady, the o-line or Darnold. It seems like some of everything today. Get rid of Brady and improve the o-line next year as our biggest priority next year. We're committed to Darnold for 1 more year. Just let the season play out and how we adjust for now.
  13. It's like we gave up on the forward pass and are settling for 30 yard drives down the field hoping to get intonfield goal range.
  14. Need to get Chinn on punt returns. Dude wouldn't go down.
  15. Makes no sense to go for it here. Gives tue eagles a change for more points.
  16. Special teams surprisingly playing well for a change.
  17. He's looked good every time his name has been called. Promising pick for the future. Hubbard has looked great overall too just needs to improve catching the ball.
  18. This secondary has been lights out. Imagine when we have Shaq, Horn and Gilmore back. Crazy coverage talent.
  19. None of the corners we have bringing in have been brought here to replace Jackson. They are where because our depth is thin and injuries. Jackson has been absolutely killing it in coverage and tackling and from what I have seen a great field leader too. We have money to spend next year and he will be worth returning at the right price. Just let the season and off season play out before jumping to conclusions about corners being brought in to replace corners other than Jackson.
  20. Cowboys are favored between 4 and 5 points. So the betting public is saying they're a 1-2 point favorite on a neutral field. This doesn't seem too far off from reality. The panthers have faced weaker teams and an injured saints team and done exactly what they should do to them. Won easily. The cowboys have also done exactly what they should. They contended against the Bucs, keeping that game close. They beat a very good chargers team and easily defeated a bad eagles team. I get them being 1-2 point favorites given strength of schedule discrepancies. I also think we've been undeperfoming due to low quality opponents and have not begun to peak offensively. I'm super excited to this game as it will be the first real test. Can our defense contain a great offense? Can our offense keep up with a great offense if the defense can't keep them under 30? Can't wait for this game to find out.
