As the the temperatures increased today at the Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins joint practice today, so did the players' tempers. During one on one drills, Panthers left tackle Michael Oher took Dolphins DE Olivier Vernon out wide and eventually to the ground at the feet of the spectating players. After the play, Vernon stood above Oher a move that is probably less than courteous. Oher initiated helmet to helmet contact while getting back on his feet. This escalated into punches being thrown. Dolphins fans are typically a loyal and passionate bunch. They have seen highs and lows, but remain dedicated to their team. Its difficult not to like them.
