Panthers talk to Greg Jennings

Remember that we currently have 4 mil in cap space and may not be able to match what he wants to be paid this year. He had a 7 mil cap hit last year, and 5 mil in 2013.

Maybe we can talk him into a 2 year deal where he only counts 2 or less against the cap in 2015, and maybe 4-5 in 2016. If not then it may just end up as a visit and that's all.

remember the Vikings are still paying him so we might be able to get a reasonable deal.

If we sign him then I could definatley get behind a WR corp of KB/Jennings/Strong/Philly/Bersin (assuming Strong falls to us) combine that with Olsen and Stewart and if Oher gets back to form under Matsko, yeaaa buddy!

If we sign Jennings, we're not taking a wideout the 1st. Get that through your head.

Pretty sure he's looking for an environment that's good for his family, not really money at this point. Charlotte's a perfect place. I bet he'd be willing to come in here on a team friendly deal to be a mentor and leader as the #2 WR with Cam throwing him the ball AND probably a chance at a Super Bowl.
