who else could we have drafted lol? all the top OT prospects were gone, there were only 3 WR's with a round 1 grade, Gurley was gone.

 

 

 

at the minimum Shaq plays beside Luke for the next 10 years 

EXACTLY.  Thats what I am saying.  Who else would we have taken.  A second round graded WR or a weak Tackle?

Shaq is a great pick. He can be groomed to be an LB or a Safety and he'll be groomed by the best. Also gives us another legit returner. Very excited w this pick.

I'm so disappointed in the reaction of Panthers nation tonight by people that 

 

A.) Knew exactly nothing about Shaq Thompson before tonight

 

and 

 

B.) Now believe because of Jon Gruden that we drafted a guy to be a special teamer 

 

So, so stupid. Shaq Thompson is a beast that I guarantee will be a Pro Bowl linebacker within the next 2-3 seasons.

Lol nobody cares if he pans out or not. He could be the GOAT but it still isn't going to cover for the deficiencies we have. We are simply not good enough to be the leagues best team next year, and even if Thompson is great-this pick isn't going to change that.
