Can you find one, just one example of Cam not being "down to earth" outside of some quote taken out of context?

I'll wait.

This is a guy who acts like he won the Superbowl after a simple first down.

Words can be manipulative. Actions show true character.

He can give all the balls he wants to kids in the stands. Doesn't change that his arrogance and look at me attitude.

If that guy is down to earth in your eyes, I would hate to see your definition of being cocky.

But since you asked:

There's tons more, and that's not even taking into account his past of theft and under the table deals.

If only that thread wasn't a complete sham. Lol.

Did you see how your new joint has been claimed by the Roaring Riot? http://www.carolinahuddle.com/boards/topic/116298-71515-new-falcons-stadium-becomes-member-of-roaringriot/?do=findComment&comment=3412179

I argued with a guy on Twitter this morning about how Jonathan Stewart is the best RB in the NFC.  So yes, I am an incessant homer.  I ended the argument once the guy told me he didn't have a team any longer since Favre retired.  How stupid is that?  Debating a dude with no team is like debating tactical warfare with the Swiss.

I wouldn't call that claim being an incessant homer. I don't think anyone logical can argue about Stewart's skillset. The guy is an animal. The only hang up on his game is the "when healthy" label. I'm fairly certain he's rode more miles on the bike than he has run down the field.

Also, fug Favre. And people with no NFL allegiance. They are the Swiss.

Can the saints and falcon fans not get anything right?  With fans like that no wonder the dumpster fire is spreading.

This is a thread for celebrating the impending train wreck of a cap situation in Seattle.

Please stop hijacking threads.  Start a thread about Cam and take your ass-whippings in public like good little fans

I was simply responding to the talk of Drew Brees being a selfish prick because he took less money than Sir Cameron Newton.

Here's one that exposes Cam Newton as worse than Timmay The Golden Calf of Bristol.

So your examples are his first down celebrations, an accurate pre-draft quote, and a hit piece by Prisco who later admitted that article was in poor form.

Keep reaching.

Sham? You son of a....  I got my dress shoes dirty burying that card.

Tell all your illiterate Falcon faithful that when they attend their first game there, to please wipe their feet.  We don't want our house to look filthy.

I'm glad you mentioned this.

Cam has proven time and again what type of guy he is, whether it's being the last player after practice signing autographs, going the extra mile to make a sick kid feel special or paying a visit to the families in the Columbia shooting out of the spotlight.

Literally means nothing

Oh I beg to differ, It's the new curse of the Billy Goat.  Ask Cubs fans.  When Melty Ice throws that first pick 6 in the Arthur's Anus Dome, your mind will go straight to the 7/15/15 when that piece of Panther fan history was buried.

There are tons more, but, it must really stick in the crawl that the native ATL son is the most marketable under 35 athlete in the game.  But I guess that's just a sham to cater to major markets Auburn and Charlotte right?

disagree mr philosophy major with losing team.  SCP's post demonstrates clear correlations with Demings 14 point Philosophy;

1. Create constancy of purpose toward improvement of product and service, with the aim to become competitive and to stay in business, and to provide jobs.

2. Adopt the new philosophy. We are in a new economic age. Western management must awaken to the challenge, must learn their responsibilities, and take on leadership for change.

3. Cease dependence on inspection to achieve quality. Eliminate the need for inspection on a mass basis by building quality into the product in the first place.

4. End the practice of awarding business on the basis of price tag. Instead, minimize total cost. Move toward a single supplier for any one item, on a long-term relationship of loyalty and trust.

5. Improve constantly and forever the system of production and service, to improve quality and productivity, and thus constantly decrease costs.

6. Institute training on the job.

7. Institute leadership (see Point 12 and Ch. 8). The aim of supervision should be to help people and machines and gadgets to do a better job. Supervision of management is in need of overhaul, as well as supervision of production workers.

8. Drive out fear, so that everyone may work effectively for the company (see Ch. 3).

9. Break down barriers between departments. People in research, design, sales, and production must work as a team, to foresee problems of production and in use that may be encountered with the product or service.

10. Eliminate slogans, exhortations, and targets for the work force asking for zero defects and new levels of productivity. Such exhortations only create adversarial relationships, as the bulk of the causes of low quality and low productivity belong to the system and thus lie beyond the power of the work force.

  • Eliminate work standards (quotas) on the factory floor. Substitute leadership.
  • Eliminate management by objective. Eliminate management by numbers, numerical goals. Substitute leadership.

11. Remove barriers that rob the hourly worker of his right to pride of workmanship. The responsibility of supervisors must be changed from sheer numbers to quality.

12. Remove barriers that rob people in management and in engineering of their right to pride of workmanship. This means, inter alia, abolishment of the annual or merit rating and of management by objective (see Ch. 3).

13. Institute a vigorous program of education and self-improvement.

14. Put everybody in the company to work to accomplish the transformation. The transformation is everybody's job.

Your responses in this thread have mimicked a slightly daft talking parrot (sorry Mr. Scot, no relations)
