Panthers President resigns

Some cool stories about him coming out after his announcement. Maybe he's just ready for a chance of scenery.

Sorry to see him go, will always remember him walking around the practice field handing out rosters to fans. Whomever takes the job has big shoes to fill. He spearheaded the stadium improvements project so I suspect the timing of his departure also has something to do with the final phase of the stadium improvement plan underway.

Cam's first NFL game in Arizona he literally walked around the entire field and thanked every Panther fan near the railing for coming out and supporting the team and had a quick conversation with us about where we were from, etc.

The resignation of Panthers president Danny Morrison does come as a complete surprise but he has a passion for college sports and it wouldn't surprise if he returned to that.

Talked to Danny Morrison, who on Thursday stepped down as president of the Panthers, and he reiterated he had a great run with the organization but wanted to pursue opportunities on the college level.
