Being reported that the Browns may wind up cutting DT Caleb Brantley if their investigation of his incident yields bad results.

Wouldn't that be the kind of thing you'd want to work out before using a draft pick on him?

I just saw the news as well. Maybe they just saw it as a gamble, high risk high reward? It's not like they gave up a lot for him and if he does work out they could end up with a decent player.

AKA, if they get absolutely roasted by the media for this, they'll just cut bait. This is going to have very little to do with any "investigation" on their part. It's going to have everything to do with how his case plays out legally and the public perception of this move. Their statement was a pure cop out.

Well I just got a bleacher report alert saying the Florida head coach told all NFL teams to stay away from Brantley even as a UDFA. Lmao if it couldn't get any worse for the browns it just did.

1. Pretty sure there was zero video evidence
2. All the workers at the place it happened at have claimed he did Not hit her but shoved her
3. They said he shoved her after she repeatedley hit him including the head..
