Just wondering ...

Is there another forum out there for true Panthers fans ? Just asking as I am getting so tired of the "haters", "doubters", and "trolls".  While yesterday's games will not go into my books as one of best ever (far from that), I am still excited to see us in the post-season and having a chance on revenging ourselves against the Saints.  I may be an old-fashioned sports fan.  I am with my team through the good and the bad times.  I am not an expert of the game.  My 24 year old son often has to explain certain subtleties that I miss, but I do know, however, that a flag on a return ALWAYS means block in the back :)).  I never stop watching a game, even if my team is 20 points down (or up).

I am just a simple Pathers fan with decals on my truck and a picture of CMC running through the Packers defense as my Cover Picture on Facebook.......  I am just a fan.

I do agree there’s a ton of negativity on here. It’s a pretty depressing place after a loss.

And as important as the Panthers are to me - one of my only real passions outside of my family - we could do a better job of helping each other keep things in perspective.

Since 1995, we’re all lucky we haven’t been fans of Detroit, Cincinnati, Buffalo, Philly, Cleveland, Miami, the Jets, KC, the Chargers, Tennessee, Jacksonville, Washington, Chicago, Minnesota, and Arizona. Even Dallas and the Rams have been pretty terrible since their lone Super Bowl titles in that time span.

    • Anybody got a clue what this is supposed to mean? 🤔
    • I figured as much. Hopefully he's just resting up and will be ready for round 3 (if we make it that far.)  Sucks to see. Hes been our best defender (besides Slavin) in the playoffs so far.
    • I've never bought into the idea. There's just too much at stake, even for front office people. Jobs are lost, trust is lessened, lives are altered, reputations are damaged and more. Throw in that the average front office person isn't as young as the average player. They may not have ten years ahead of them to salvage their careers. Any given year could be their last. The only person not guaranteed to suffer some direct form of consequence from losing is the owner, and even there you still have problems (fan reaction, team reputation, revenue, etc). You've also got massive egos in play on that front so it can get personal. Mind you, I do accept that there are "fire sales" in order to build for the future, but even those have consequences. They don't exactly guarantee success either. Poorly run teams often just wind up in the same circumstance a few years down the road. Sorry gus, but my tinfoil hat just hasn't fit me for quite a while.
