If the Hornets do not move Kemba during the draft they have missed a golden opportunity. He is gone next offseason. Make a trade for a pick straight up and go rebuild mode. The current roster is going no where. Just a sad fact.

Osman, #8 and filler for Kemba plus a bad contract is a hell of a deal for the Hornets.

The biggest part of that deal would be losing batums contract.  I doubt they take that and give us number 8

My insane idea:

 

Facilitate a Kawhi trade to CLE, while acquiring both 8 and Love. Kemba goes to SA along with Batum. Cleveland dishes a future first to SA as well, get a top guy to help keep Lebron.

CHA gets: Love, 8th

CLE gets: Kawhi

SA gets: 2019 unprotected 1st, Kemba, Batum

Maybe not Batum, but probably be able to throw Williams, mkg in a deal and get good return.
