Weapon degradation can get real old real fast if it's not done right though. It can be a real fun killer.

I've never really played a game with it before...that I can remember.

Just think it's closer to real life, especially in that environment.  Don't keep em clean and oiled up, and they may not work when you really need them.  That said, it will be frustrating if they make it degrade faster than they really should.

In something like Fallout where you can repair weapons it isn't a big deal. But it got very annoying in Breath of the Wild.

It is super super annoying on Breath of the Wild, too much so.     You find a cool weapon and you know it won't last long, kind of takes an element out of an RPG that you shouldn't, the loot hunt.

If it comes to PC at all.

It will, and will probably have some version of shark cards. Rockstar has figured out that if they make a game good enough, and release it on different platforms at different times, people will buy it 2-3 times like GTA V or Skyrim.

I'm liking the weapon degradation I'm hearing about, and the real time 1st person experience.

Weapon degradation won’t be bad if it’s balanced. I usually hate that stuff but Breath of the Wild did it and I didn’t even mind. First person will be a fun experience but will be trash for “first person shooter”. It’s probably be like GTA V first person which is fun, but auto aim is a must.

Never played the first but this one looks fun. Question ... can you roam about on your own? Or do you always have to do missions with your posse? I'd rather just roam about that have to do missions and stuff.

This is a true open world game.  From what I've heard, once you get through the first hour of so of learning about how the game works, you can explore as much or little as you want.

Tons of shopping, card games, restaurants, bars, hunting and fishing, side missions that aren't really missions, etc.  It's like GTA on steroids from what I've been able to gather.

Yea, the world reacts to you differently than ever before.  You have to bathe and change clothes after you have been hunting...if the townsfolk see you covered in blood and smelling like ass, they won't engage with you.

Have to eat to maintain strength, but eat too much or drink too much and your stamina will go down...hence not able to run as fast or as far.  Have to do the same with the horse/horses.  They have to be brushed and fed, or they will be just another vehicle...take care of them and over time they will form a bond with you and the controls will work better.

This is all stuff I've read, obviously haven't played it yet.
