Well it's officially gameday, technically play-in round, but for all intents and purposes it's the playoffs. Let's go Canes, send the Rags home.

Still mad about getting this draw, but send them packing and it's water under the bridge.  Not having Dougie in this game hurts.  This will be some rusty hockey.  Just need to limit the mistakes on defense and keep a big in the Rangers' crease.

great first period. canes came out swinging. the rangers took a period to warm up, but look like they’re on their game now. should be a great series

Is it just me or is there literally no checking going on at all. There’s been some clear opportunities by both teams to put a player into the boards and both teams let up.

I know it was just game one but we really gotta get our skates under us and puck handling better going forward. It was ugly today. The intensity, speed and defense via offense was on point. But gotta get the fundamentals back without loosing the drive.

Very happy with the addition and immediate contributions of Vatanen, Skjel and Trochek. 

And Skjel absolutely crushed Fast- took him out of the game with a legit hit.
