A good play by Teddy that many chastised him for.

This is a really good play by Teddy. Good pocket awareness, footwork, and throw.

(Video from @4outmanrush )

DJ Moore has to learn to find the soft spot in the zone and sit there. Keep running into the next defender isn't what he needed to do. Ball is exactly where it should have been. DJ was not.

Noticed a few people trashing Teddy in the gameday thread after this throw. Felt it needed correcting.

We need to start developing receivers. We’ve never done that. We should start. Not just develop tight ends, we have a good history with them. Dj is s fumble waiting to happen until he shows otherwise.

Development isn't the issue. You see our guys go to other teams and not develop there either. Talent evaluation is the issue. You can't make a player be great that doesn't want to be great.

I don’t think what you said is wrong. Hurney has a history at this point. Why he’s still on as gm while we clean house elsewhere is mind boggling to me. Brandon LaFell did much better in New England than here. Why did we keep bring bersin back for all those years? Seemed lazy and cheap to me. However we do it, dj ain’t that guy sadly.

    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
    • This is a toughie because I wonder what a guy like Canales thinks about redemption stories for addiction issues. Also, I think this is a case of 1 player getting caught, and not being naive enough to think this isn't more common in college than we think. I'd toss a 3rd rounder out there. 2026 is essentially a redshirt season regardless, so he's not taking over for any NFL QB next year. Best case, he's ready to go in 2027 if we pass on Bryce's extension. Worst case, he's our future backup QB2. Kid has the tools to be an NFL QB. I do think we could somehow land a '26 3rd round pick back in a trade. Our past years' third rounders are: Brazzell Princely Wallace DJ Johnson Matt Corral All this to say, I could see a team like the Jets going w/ a 2nd. They have three FRPs next year.
