Draft picks can't be traded during the draft right? So if there would be a trade for 1st overall, the Wolves would have to just take the player that the team trading up wants and then vice versa, yes? Or did the rules change on that?

Not his biggest fan at all but at this point Ball is by far the best prospect available. There was a top tier of 3 guys and Ball is the only 1 left. It's a no brainer to take him here for the value.

That's not a terrible thing with the way the NBA is playing these days. And length is a lot more important than height.  He's got a 7'1" wingspan.  That mitigates his 6'9" height.
