Hypothetical Trade for Deshaun Watson

Recommended Posts

I think the Texans get a good laugh out of that suggestion, given that they've already said it would take three firsts, three seconds and a player in order to even "start the conversation".

Just now, Sean Payton's Vicodin said:

2 first and a second for a young elite qb?

Anyone who says no has jerry richardson style brainworms on how football is played

Meet the guy who'd say "no".

Nope. He wants out. They can take Ted, our 1st and next years 2nd. They can draft a new QB with that pick and do what we should do at that price.

I don't see it happening. Maybe if it goes terrible for them and us, we see him next offseason.

And ditch Teddy’s contract!

In a heart beat. One of the positives that we have going is that we are still rebuilding and there is a good chance that the 2022 1st could still be top 15 as opposed to Pitt, NE, San Fran, or New Orleans which would all be pick 24 on up.

I would hope the Texans find that spicer than the other hypothetical spots.

Here's another hypothetical:

PANTHERS GET:

Patrick Mahomes

CHIEFS GET:

Teddy Bridgewater, 2021 No. 8 overall pick, 2021 second-round pick, 2021 third-round pick, 2022 first-round pick, 2022 second-round pick, 2023 third-round pick

Both "hypotheticals" are equally likely of happening
